Danish artist Paul Gustav Fischer was known for his creative depictions of cities such as Copenhagen. He participated in exhibitions. His paintings captured the essence of popular cities. Like his painting of a rainy day in Kongens Nytorv, a public square in Copenhagen.

Vilhelm Hammershoi

Danish artist Vilhelm Hammerchoi gained recognition for his poetic and subdued portraits. He learned from such landscape artists as Vilhelm Kyhn and Frederik Vermehren at the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts.

P.S. Kroyer

    While all the artists create remarkable artwork, I was wowed by Gustav Fisher’s public square art.
