"Embracing a Life Without Ambition: Finding Contentment in the Present Moment"
"Embarking on a Journey of Discovery"

The bell rang.
All of the kids, including Zawa, dashed to their classrooms. Zawa's first day of school has arrived. He'd never been to school in his life.
Zawa was 15 at the time. Kayu, a woodcutter, gave birth to him. Zawa and Kayu both lived on the hill.
Zawa spent his childhood helping his father cut wood on the hilltops. This wood was sold in the city to help support their family and keep them warm in their hut.
Kayu could not afford to send his son to school because of his great poverty, despite his constant want.
Zawa had always helped his father and had acquired the trade of a woodcutter.
He was wonderful for sharpening the ax and hitting the tree in the appropriate places. He had no friends and had never gone to the city.
He had only cut trees and carried wood since his birth. Kayu told Zawa about his aspirations to send him to school one day.
Zawa inquired, "What is a school?"
Kayu chuckled and pointed down the hill to the red building.
That is a college. You will also receive schooling there. You will grow more intelligent and obtain better jobs as a result of your education. Kayu answered
Zawa didn't know what his father meant, so he just nodded a blank "yes."
He had no notion if there was any better job than chopping and transporting wood. He hadn't seen any while living on the Hilltop.
So Zawa was sitting in class with all the new students one day.
When the teacher entered the room, everyone greeted him respectfully, and Zawa followed suit. The teacher declared that today each student would have to inform the entire class about their life goals.
Zawa had never heard the word "aspiration" before. His father had just informed him that he would learn something at school.
So, one by one, the students rose. Someone aspired to be a pilot. The other aspired to be a doctor.
Another one, this time an engineer or a soldier. And so forth. But Zawa had no idea.
When it was his turn, he stood motionless. The teacher asked Zawa what his life goals were, and Zawa replied.
What is ambition? teacher, The entire class erupted in laughter.
The teacher called the class to a halt and explained to Zawa that ambition was something he wanted to accomplish in life, something he wanted to do, or something he wanted to become. Zawa remained expressionless.
He had spent his entire life chopping and transporting wood. He had no notion there was such a thing as ambition, which required him to obtain something that was supposed to be far away. According to the definition of ambition provided to him, Zawa replied slowly.
I'm not ambitious. My father and I cut wood and carried branches from high trees. We work throughout the day, eat at night, and sleep at night.
That's all there is to it. By the end of the night, my father and I had accomplished everything we set out to do in the morning. The entire class burst out laughing once more.
The teacher again silenced the class. Of course, Zawa was not lying, and the children had been trained to laugh at everything that wasn't familiar to them. As a result, the teacher advised Zawa, "You must have ambition." You are a goalless, hollow person if you lack ambition.
Who lacks a sense of direction. So Zawa went into serious thought. He stood motionless. He couldn't figure out why the teacher wanted him to visualize something, like a goal or a destination. It didn't make sense to him.
He had always assumed that cutting wood in the morning and sleeping at night was all that was required.
There was nothing else for it. And now he was being told that there was something else that needed to be done that had not yet been done.
And he has to do it since he was born without it and needs it now. The teacher went on, "You must walk the path Zawa, you must work hard."
If you keep working hard, you will undoubtedly attain your goal one day. But Zawa inquired, "Which road or destination?"
