Chapter One

Hundreds of years before the scriptures were taken in the West, there was a black bear spirit occupying the Black Wind Mountain, calling himself the Black Wind King.

One day, the black bear spirit came across a little monk. He found the little monk quite interesting, so he gave him some gold and silver treasures, and taught him some of the magic of longevity. This little monk was later known as the Golden Pond Elder, and the two of them were bonded from then on.

After this, Jin Chi also give the black bear spirit some Buddhism, the black bear spirit is also a little interested in, the two are also considered to have a common topic of friends.

Jin Chi sat all the way to the Guanyin Zen garden elders (after all, learned the art of longevity, the longest living), worshiped by people, and the desire to expand.

One of the Black Bear Spirit's men was the Cang Wolf Spirit, who took the Taoist name of Ling Xu Zi. Another was the White Flower Snake Monster, generally known as the White Clothes Showman. Though both of them were worshiped by the Black Bear Spirit, each of them had his own faction. Lingxu Zi was in charge of a group of wolf demons, while the white-clothed showman was in charge of a group of snake demons.

There was a young wolf demon under Ling Xu Zi who wanted to practice Buddhism. Ling Xu Zi, a kind-hearted demon, had the intention to fulfill him, so he mentioned it to the Black Bear Spirit, who introduced this little wolf demon to the Guanyin Zen Center. Jin Chi gave him a legal name “Guang Mou”. Guangmou changed into a little monk and practiced quite peacefully in the Zen garden.

The story reached the ears of the white-robed monk. The white showman is a thoughtful person, afraid of the Lingxu Zi and Jin Chi in the dark research something, for fear of their own detriment, so also found a small snake spirit into human form, sent into the Goddess of Mercy Zen Center. This little snake spirit's name is “Guangzhi”.

After the arrival of the scripture-taking team, Jin Chi coveted the Tang Priest's robe, and Guang Mou, although he wanted to practice Buddhism, was after all a demon, and did not take the killing of people seriously, so he came up with an idea to kill the Tang Priest. Guangzhi, on the other hand, is thoughtful and suggests that it would be easier to set a fire to hide it. So Jinchi did as he was told, and the whole Zen garden was set on fire with firewood.

However, the walls had ears, and the Monkey King heard them. The Monkey King used the fire shield to protect the Tang Monk, and then added a wind to set the Guanyin Zen Center on fire, burning many monks to death. Elder Jinchi killed himself by hitting the wall (so the ghosts in the game, head is the weak point, a heavy blow to the head and fall to the ground), Guangmou and Guangzhi fled.

The Black Bear Spirit was supposed to put out the fire, but ended up taking the robe and clashed with the scripture-taking team as a result. In the end, he was taken away by Guanyin after she put on a golden hoop and became a mountain guardian god. As for Lingxu Zi and Baiyi Xiu Shi, they were killed.

After fetching scriptures in the west, the prologue story takes place, and the Goddess of Mercy sends the Black Bear Spirit to participate in the siege of the Monkey King. In fact, the Black Bear Spirit did not want to go, but instead, the Good Fortune Child (Red Child) quite wanted to go, only that Guanyin named him, and the Black Bear Spirit did not dare to disobey.

After the Wukong's death, as a reward, the Black Bear Spirit finally took off the Golden Hoop Curse, got one of Wukong's six roots, and returned to the Black Wind Mountain.

The Black Bear Spirit tried to refine Sun Wukong's relics, but was unable to do so due to insufficient magical power, so he enshrined the relics at the top of the pagoda, which he used to attract demons to be his subordinates.

At this time, the Black Wind Mountain has been without a leader for a hundred years, and the Black Bear Spirit knows that it is difficult to unite the monsters by brute force and attraction alone, so he makes a series of moves. However, because of his low intelligence, these ideas did not work very well.

First, he used a spell he learned in the South China Sea to bring Ling Xu Zi back to life - but this spell required the use of a living sacrifice from one of Ling Xu Zi's clansmen, and Ling Xu Zi would have to feed on his clansmen's blood from now on. Ling Xu Zi could not accept the resurrection and hanged himself. The fire shield was originally found by the Black Bear Spirit and given to Lingxu Zi, so it was considered to be Lingxu Zi's funeral.

The black bear spirit see this move is not appropriate, and support a strong enough wolf demon, give him the name of Lingxu Zi (and Lingxu Zi sound the same word is different, may also be the black bear spirit did not have much culture). But this Lingxu Zi is from the Lion's Hunchback country to run over the outsiders, and cultivation method is too bloody and violent, caused by the Black Wind Mountain local wolf demon's dissatisfaction, and ultimately almost caused the Lingxu Zi on the local wolf demon's massacre. But it was ultimately stopped by the new snake demon commander, the white-clothed Xiu Shi.

With a sense of powerlessness over these matters, the Black Bear Spirit rebuilt the Guanyin Zen Temple and tried to resurrect Elder Jin Chi with the same spell that resurrected Ling Xu Zi to relieve his loneliness. Unexpectedly, Jin Chi's soul was still thinking of the possessions he had hidden in his lifetime, and instead of being resurrected to his physical body, he was resurrected to his possessions and became a mentally unbalanced monster with a big head.

There was also a small incident that happened during this period:

The land in Black Wind Mountain met an old Taoist priest. The old Taoist priest talked to the land and then taught the land skills such as Fixation and Gathering Form and Dispersing Qi.

The land asked why did you teach me this? The old Taoist said, “In the future, there will be a man of destiny passing by this place, and it is not convenient for me to meet him, so please teach these two skills to him on my behalf. When he finished speaking, he flew away on a cloud.

As he flew away, he dropped a linden leaf.
