When they came to his house a gnome? family answered and told them the wizard had moved much farther up the hill. The girls set off there and found the wizard. He told them he was out of business, he had been for years. May begged him, until he agreed to go and see Ella. Ella was hiding a little ways away, she had to stay away from the town, the first town they visited guards were sent out to attack Ella. The wizard was dumbfounded, May showed him the journal with Ella’s permission. The wizard cast a spell to check and see what happened. He found evil pixie? elf? magic embedded in Ella’s heart and head. He said he needed special ingredients for a spell. He also said they’d have to travel a long way to get these ingredients. They went and got the ingredients after struggling a lot. The wizard had to head back to his place to cast the spell. Partway through their journey back the pixie/elf? took Ella and ran off with her. They had a huge magical thing to transport her? The wizard and May awake to find Ella gone and go searching for her. On their searches, they reach the wizard's house. He tells May he is too old to journey like this. He tells her he will stay and prepare the spell, and he will await May and Ella’s return. May has to journey out alone to find her lost sister. Or will she? She goes to find a childhood friend of hers to assist her in the rescue of her sister.

Book 3 Summary:

May and Chad? Bestabe? Set out to rescue Ella from the elves/pixies? They travel far, encounter many difficulties and many memories are resurfaced but eventually they reach the evil place where Ella is being held. Ever since she arrived she was filled with more and more of the evil magic they had been filling her with ever since she was a little baby. May and her companion are instantly arrested and taken to a far away prison. They have to break out and find Ella again. They escape after a few too many failed attempts, and they start back to where poor Ella was still being held, liquid evil being pumped into her weak and aching heart. She missed her sister. Meanwhile, May had to help Chad? Person with the main reason she had asked him to help, he had been training to become a wizard. When he was nine. Until he was twelve. But he did know stuff. He used his wizard magic to help them escape a huge army of elf/pixy warriors by flying on a cloud of particles away from the mass of spear-throwing enemies. They flew a ways until the spell wore off and they fell into a lake. They struggled against a giant squid who was trying to drown them. They then camped through the forest until they reached the lair. Again. This time they ended up on the opposite side of the lair from where Ella was. ____ guy got a little too close to the guards at one point and he attracted their attention. Him and May had to battle all the guards. They defeated a few but some got away and warned other guards. They took armour from a couple guards and disguised themselves amidst the group of guards going into the fortress. They were seperated at a corner, the guy? was headed for where Ella was being held, and May was headed for the evil elf master.
