ANXIETY

HAVING A MO.

By vera odumgbaPublished about a year ago 1 min read

When thoughts dost race like steeds upon a field,

In shadows deep, my heart doth feel concealed.

A tempest brews within this anxious mind,

Each doubt a dagger, every breath unkind.

What’s this strange weight upon my weary chest?

A burden heavy, robbing me of rest.

I scroll through feeds, yet peace dost elude,

As visions of perfection breed my brood.

In whispers soft, my fears dost take their flight,

What if I falter? What if I’m not right?

Yet in this chaos, I shall find my grace,

For I am more than this unyielding space.

So let the tempest roar, let shadows fall,

I’ll rise above, I’ll conquer, I’ll stand tall.

With every doubt, I’ll weave my own decree,

For in this life, I’m bold, I’m truly free.
