Adult comedy meets magical fantasy in Sooper Doods

Developed by Denver based comedic team Matt Bruggeman and Rob Joyner, Sooper Doods is their newest animated series that fuses Adventure Time's fantastical realms and the adventurous spirit and friendship of Road to El Dorado in an adult comedy.

Partnering with Powerhouse Animation, the studio behind epic series such as Castlevania, Sonic Frontiers, Master of the Universe, Blood of Zeus, the team are also working with talented voice actors from All-American, Stranger Things and Footloose.

Sooper Doods features Max and Tucker, two washed up teachers who embark on an epic journey to discover magical sauce powers. The animated series delves into their quest to rekindle their childhood friendship after growing apart as adults, with plenty of humor and heart.

After finding the map to an epic Sauce Crawl, these detached teachers set out on a “field trip” to acquire them all. Unbeknownst to them, the two have stumbled across the key to an ancient power that nefarious forces will stop at nothing to acquire. But while these washed-up heroes couldn't save the world, the power of their doodship inadvertently teaches a greater lesson to this messed-up realm.

Ranked as a "Project We Love" on Kickstarter, and the highest funded animation campaign from Colorado, Sooper Doods is running on Kickstarter until March 12th 2024. Perks include t-shirts, posters, custom drawings and exclusive access to the show's premiere.
