A story told in symbols

It just needs to be honest.

I painted this piece in a moment when words could not keep up with what I felt. I needed movement. I needed color. I needed a way to talk without explaining. So I used symbols.

Every shape became a sentence. Every color became a memory. I let instinct lead the brush until the canvas started to breathe on its own. The flame. The flower. The arrows. The stars. They all speak the same language even when I do not.

I called it Signs of Life because that is exactly what it is. A pulse made visible. It is chaos and peace sharing the same space. It is joy and confusion sitting at the same table.

Sometimes I forget that art does not need to make sense to anyone else. It just needs to be honest. That is what this piece taught me.

It reminded me that expression is survival. That what we create becomes proof we were here. And that even when I feel silent, my colors still speak for me.

These are my signs of life.
