What is Cloud Computing?
All you should know about Cloud Computing

All You need to know about Cloud Computing
I assume everybody has heard the word Cloud Computing before, and I can assure you that many of us might have a rough idea about what Cloud Computing is but very few might know what cloud computing is exactly.
So first let us read the definition of Cloud Computing.
Cloud computing is the on-demand delivery of computer power, database, storage, application and other IT resources through a cloud service platform via the internet with pay-as-you-go pricing.
Let us understand what is Cloud Computing in layman language
Suppose, you want to expand your business. So you design a website or you want to take your business online so that it can have a broader audience. To host a website you have 2 options :
Either you have to buy a server and then some database to store your data. (Huge Investment)
Or you can hire a server, database or other software online.
Here the second option will be relatively much cheaper as compared to the first as buying an actual server will cost more as compared to hiring it from someone else as you will pay for the resources for how much time you had used these resources and how many resources used.
The second option that you will take is what we called cloud computing.
Now, the point is Why you should use Cloud Computing?
There are numerous advantages to using cloud computing. So Let's discuss
Trade fixed expense for variable expenses: It will be a waste if you are investing heavily in data centres and servers without knowing in actual that how much your business needs to set up itself. Instead, we can use the cloud to know the actual system requirement of our business.
Benefits from massive economies of scale: In microeconomics, economies of scale are the cost advantages that enterprises obtain due to their scale of operation, and are typically measured by the amount of output produced. So, if you choose cloud you will have higher economies of scale as the variable cost will be lower. Examples of variable costs include a manufacturing company's costs of raw materials and packaging - or a retail company's credit card transaction fees or shipping expenses, which rise or fall with sales.
Stop guessing capacity: Instead of guessing about the infrastructure capacity of the business that we run, we can deploy our business directly on the cloud and scale the infrastructure according to our business needs
Increase Speed and agility: Developers or persons in your organization can work effectively through the cloud as there will be less testing of hardware resources or networks that will ultimately speed up business logic. development
Stop spending money running and maintaining data centres: In this competitive world, it is advisable to work on something that differentiates our business from others instead of working on solving infrastructure or network issues hence cloud can help us achieve that.
Go Global: Suppose you want to deploy your application to the whole world, so in traditional ways, one needs to have many servers across the globe and deploy our application on each server so that it can reach a wider range of audience which will have higher latency that will ultimately have more cost. And cloud can help us to achieve lower latency and better. experience for our experience at a minimal cost.
With this, I am hoping you are convinced that you should take your business onto the cloud.
