Vishwakarma Puja is a sacred occasion to honor Lord Vishwakarma, the divine architect and the presiding deity of all craftsmen and artisans. Follow these steps to perform the puja with utmost devotion and respect:

Begin your day by waking up early in the morning and preparing yourself for the puja. Take a bath and wear clean clothes. Ensure that the area where you will perform the Vishwakarma Puja is clean as well. Also, clean your tools and machines with the utmost respect, care, and dedication.

Gather all the necessary items for the puja, including Akshat (rice), flowers, sweets, fruits, dhoop (fragrance), ghee (clarified butter), oil lamp, sandalwood paste, and a picture or idol of Lord Vishwakarma.

Create a beautiful puja altar using fresh flowers and dress the Vishwakarma Vigraha (consecrated idol) in clean and colorful clothes and jewelry. Arrange the tools and equipment neatly in front of the puja altar.

With a calm mind, join your hands, close your eyes, and focus on your breath to center yourself.

With devotion and faith, offer flowers and sandalwood paste to the Vigraha or photo of Lord Vishwakarma and say, “O Vishwakarma ji, please come here and accept my worship.”

Apply Tilak (vermillion mark) and Akshat (rice) on all the available tools, symbolizing their sanctification. Pray to Lord Vishwakarma to bring wealth, glory, happiness, peace, and freedom from fear. Seek blessings for knowledge, skills, and protection for your workplace and projects. Recite the mantra “Om Vishwakarmane Namah” with utmost devotion.

Apply vermillion on the Vigraha, photograph, tools, and machines as a mark of reverence.

Sing praises, perform the Aarti (devotional song), and chant the mantra while offering prayers and worship to the deity. Light ghee and oil lamps and offer incense sticks, allowing their fragrance to waft through the air as an offering to Lord Vishwakarma.

Spread Akshat and flower petals throughout your house, office, or workshop to invoke positive energy and blessings. Tie a sacred thread (Mauli) on the right wrist of those present for the puja, and don’t forget to tie the sacred thread around the tools and machinery as well, signifying their protection.

Offer Prasad (Sweets, sacred food) to Lord Vishwakarma, and then distribute it among your family and friends as a blessed offering.
