Winner Announcement: Mummies For Christmas -- Again? Let's Have A Challenge!
Check out the entrants!

Okay, folks, I have an announcement to make! I know you’ve all been sitting on the edge of your seats, waiting to know who won the Mummies For Christmas -- Again? Let's Have A Challenge! challenge.
However, before I announce the winners, I’d like to go over my thoughts on each of the entrants as I was reading them. As such, I have listed my comments on them in order of submission. Be sure to check each of the stories out along the way.
So without further ado, here’s the list:
First entry: The Burning Of The Midnight Lamp by Mike Singleton
Mike’s story tells the tale of a daring escape from zombies into the land of Egypt, only to find a new threat awaiting the refugees when they get there – mummies! This type of zombie is afraid of both water and fire, but with their torches fluttering in the night sky, can our heroes make it through the night?

Second entry: A Christmas Expedition by Sam Harty
Archeologists in Egypt? Say it ain’t so! But wait – a twist! Those aren’t just any mummies! They’re the mummies! The Christmas mummies! Well, that was certainly an unexpected take on things!

Third entry: Kufu And The Christmas Letter by Altum Veritas
When Kufu, the mummy child, finds a letter to Santa, he simply has to know more about it! He sets out on an adventure, during which he learns not only about Santa, but also about Christmas, the joy of being kind to others, and the importance of spending time with family.
Right off the bat, I loved the style of this story. It perfectly captures the feeling of some of my childhood favorites. Next, the imagery is amazing. I realize that they are AI-generated images, but they are very cohesive and fit the story perfectly, nonetheless. The story itself is awesome. Well done!

That was all three entrants! What did you think? I thought they were all interesting stories, and all on point! Everyone who entered managed to follow all of my rules to a T, and provided me with many minutes of entertainment. Thanks so much to each of you!

Thanks to all the participants for bearing with me and taking on the challenge to combine such an unusual medley of concepts into well-thought-out, cohesive stories. I think you all did great! Also, thanks for humoring my idea of allocating the largest prize to second place and the smallest to first place. It was fun!
