Why I write so much

In the current climate of content creators, it has become abundantly clear that quantity is better than quality, with some luck a piece of that quantity might turn out to be something of quality. That's just the era we are in right now, I think this might have been boosted with the COVID-19 lockdowns which forced people to be bored for long periods of time. That’s when we basically realized that even a bad piece is still worthwhile.

Nevertheless, it had always been a growing sentiment either ways, the demand for content is ever-growing, there is a whole economy behind it which relies on the constant production of content. This has made it in such a way that people now have to develop a strategy where they are constantly producing content whether it's videos, music, or articles to meet the demand which is ever-growing. Before, I’ll say we spent just part of our time watching movies, another part at work and the rest of it socializing but these days we’ve transferred most of our social lives online and even part of our work too. This led to a high demand for content online, which really made it more about quantity than quality at the end of the day.

Also when you just look at it from a demographics point of view, its hard to create something which appeals to everybody or even a large group of people but when you create content in large quantities then it can definitely get a bigger cross-section of persons. Counting on luck in such an atmosphere is basically wishing for a miracle, which is something that might happen, but is very difficult to replicate. This is one of the reasons why us creators we have to constantly keep writing, even when it doesn’t make sense or the quality isn’t just there yet. One element which attracts people to what we do is our consistency and hard work, people might not be interested or even respect what you are doing, but they will always respect the hard work you are putting in. Creating a lot puts you at better odds of achieving and replicating your luck.

Limitless Inspiration

The mind is a fantastic place, and even more so is the world we live in. Einstein said it the best by saying there is no limit to creativity and thanks to all the apps which connect us all together we can clearly see that. Before, our creativity could only go as far as what was being done all around us, but today we are closer to each other than ever before. We can tap into the creativity of persons on different continents, this has expanded even more our possibilities. In terms of content it seems like it's a bottomless pit, trillions of content already exist, billions are created daily and there doesn’t seem to be a limit yet.

Today, I don’t think we can lack inspiration, what we can lack is the energy to express this creativity. When it comes to writers specifically, it's a constant process of learning and writing, or in my case observing and writing. You just need to find an unquenchable stream of inspiration and tap into it best you can, what you are going to lack is the time to pen everything down. The world we live in still holds many secrets, as we grow older we still have so much to experience. What is it like to be 17, 25, 30 etc? These are all vital information for someone out there.

A chance to have an impact

I like the quote which says

if you cant do great things, do small things in a great way

Obviously we are not all going to be Bill Gates or Steve Jobs to create some amazing innovation which will change the course of humanity but this day we do have the chance to create an impact of such proportions. The little things you do can drastically change the lives of 10 or thousands of persons and inspire them to go ahead and do incredible things. Our impact has a ripple effect to create astounding things, your content can impact the life of a person and trigger a set of events which will create something remarkable. From the countless courses on how to make passive income, to the now freely available training offered by thousands if not millions of people on their various fields of work. Creating content is changing lives and make people much better off than they were before. You are always just a Google search from learn how to become a millionaire, the only thing you lack is the passion to put in the work.

Conclusion

Exploring my creativity is also a fun thing to do, it's entertaining and fulfills my purpose in a special way. It's important to note as well that not everybody is passionate about following their creativity. Some persons are much more interested with Constance and predictability. They enjoy doing their 9–5 jobs and doing the same things they’ve always done, they enjoy that consistency and aren’t looking for anything different from that. For those who enjoy exploring their creativity, it's a limitless world, you’ll run out of energy before you run out of creativity.
