What Others May Think Of You

And what about intuition

Jen Sincero’s You are a Badass Deck - Believe you are awesome -Try seeing yourself through the eyes of someone who admires you. They get it. They believe in you leaps and bounds. They aren’t connected to your insecurities and negative beliefs about yourself. All they see is your true glory and potential. Become one of your own die-hard fans, look at yourself from the outside, where all your self-doubts can’t crawl all over you, and behold what shines through.

Grandchidren are not the best ones for always saying things that are admiring of me. I get things like grandma has so many friends! Grandma, I love you. Hugs. Grandma has the largest bathroom of any I have seen!

Then there is grandma, you have so many wrinkles. And so does grandpa!

That is why it is important for me to not look at myself with glasses on and to use the affirmation - Hi beautiful or Hi gorgeous!

Take a moment for your intuition:

As you go about your day today, pause as often as possible and pay attention to the force that compels you to get up and have a snack, to walk into a store, to make a certain turn. Practice catching yourself in action and becoming familiar with the forces that motivate you and how they make you feel. Taking the time to develop your connection to your intuition is one of the subtlest and most profound ways to improve your life. Jen Sincero

Many years ago I learned about intuition. "Trust your intuition I was told. What does your intuition tell you?" I think now it is automatic. I will use it when it is something for me, or about me.

Grandchildren - my granddaughter got married after an on and off relationship with a significant other. They were set to marry and I was invited as was her family and his children. I had the intuition that said, this is not going to work.

Their marriage was annuled in two months time. I liked her significant other, and was hoping for the best. My intuition was right but it could've been wrong.

Affirmations:

Do not waste your precious time giving one single crap about what anybody else thinks of you. Jen Sincero

Some of the things I have learned that have been helpful are;

What someone thinks of me is none of my business.

I will take into consideration what is said, and if something rings true, I can work on it, and if not it is probably about them. So I can move on either way.

If someone is pointing at me, with one finger, they have three fingers pointing back at them!

The wrinkle comment is an example of being true and then doing something about it is saying the affirmations: Hi, Gorgeous! Hi, Beautiful! Acknowledging the truth of yes, I am 70 and it is normal to have wrinkles at my age unless you have had cosmetic surgery.

And the alternative of being this old is not getting older. And I am not ready to leave my life or this earth.

Saying thank you when others compliment me is important, as to not say thank you but rather saying oh, not this old thing, or no, I'm tired, and don't have any makeup on, etc. That is a slam to that person!

A compliment is a gift and not to accept it is telling that person that they are wrong, and don't know what they are talking about!

Affirmations are helpful in making the changes necessary to "not giving one single crap" about someone else's comments!
