Time and space expanded as matter and energy spilled out. The formation of stars, planets, and cosmic unions. After countless billions of turbulent yet dead years, the universe's journey started. Life sprang out of the sea of boiling cosmic soup all of a sudden. Complex Consciousness gradually emerged from the froth, and as a result, feelings, thoughts, and experiences of what it was like to be something in the cosmos were had.

One of the oldest sentient species, known as Homo neanderthalensis, awoke to discover itself as something someplace in the weird unknown place after a series of trial and error, push and pull, survival and Extinction. Paul, a very inquisitive and bright Neanderthal who went by the name of Sam, sat next to him on a little sea stack on the shore of a body of land. As the night's darkness gave way to dawn, the two turned to face the sky. Still trickling into the ocean below is the last star. Paul turned to face Sam and uttered a question in an imprecise, limited language, he asked to translated into, "What is this ? What do you mean, what is what?"

This place, us, Sam replied. What brings us here? What's the point? What's the point of this? Sam stayed silent for a while, gazing out at the universe as it was obscured by space and time. "Well, it's evident that this entire town was built for us. There are things to eat, drink, and play with, as well as a place to call home. When we need it, the sky provides both heat and cold. It provides all of our needs. Clearly, something made this specifically for us. Our makers are keeping an eye on us. They are ensuring our welfare and determining our purpose for being here. It's all about us, really. We simply have to comply with their requests and follow them.

As night fell and the Sunrise came, the two people watched in silence. It would take hundreds of thousands of years. Consciousness developed and increased as it learned more and more about its environment, how to use it, how to fit in with it, how to survive in it, and how to retain its independence in it. A new species known as Homo sapiens had now appeared as a result of the advancement and spread of civilization across the globe.

Bryan and Isha, two young humans, were sitting on the porch of the rural home of Bryan's family. They both turned to face the night sky, which was cloaked in menacing clouds and backlit by the moon. The two discussed a variety of topics in an effort to understand and relate to one another about their own lives. Isha eventually questioned, "What do you believe the aim of it all is? Generation after generation has struggled with the challenges of attempting to succeed, dealing with the evil and sin of the world, pointless conflict, and greed. what reason? What does it all mean? Why do we even continue?

Bryan took a minute to reflect while continuing to gaze up at the low-lying night sky. "I believe God wants us to be happy, as happy as possible, and to experience as much pleasure as possible, to Revel in the gifts of God," he continued. While grunting, Isha remained silent. More than a million years would pass. At bewildering rates and in disorienting ways, consciousness has continued to develop. Its freedom and accountability to itself drastically increased as it grew older. There would be changes in the conditions of living, bringing with them innovations in science, philosophy, architecture, and philosophical frameworks. The Homo artificialism species would eventually give rise to Alger, the most recent evolution of artificial consciousness and now-advanced technology.

On their exploring Cruiser ship, Alger sat next to Almin, one of their more senior teammates. Through a big glass window, they could see space circling above and around them. Where are we even going, Algar questioned? We have been moving forward for a very long time, but where? what reason? I'm growing weary. Life appears to be nothing more than the repetition of the same things in other guises. Pleasures and happiness pass as quickly as they arrive. They never hold up or accomplish anything. I no longer possess the naivete necessary to hold onto hope in transient joys. However, despite advancements in science, understanding, and manner of life, issues continue to exist. Pain and suffering never seem to end, and anyway we all going to die."what's the meaning of it all?".

Almin made a stern halt, leaning forward and gazing out the window at the far-off star systems they had already passed. Almin responded, "There is no meaning. "We all know that, at the very least, it has no genuine meaning. We have long since been forgotten by the gods. Nobody is keeping an eye on us, leading us, assisting us, or providing us with anything. But we're now free. Now that our parents aren't instructing us what to do or who we should be, we are free to follow our own interests and develop into the people we want to be. Not in pleasure or satisfaction, but in meaning itself, for its own sake, is where we find our meaning. We use pain, loss, and suffering as the very fuel that gives life purpose because everything ends and nothing ever truly frees us. Fill your function, contribute to the Empire, and reap as much value as you can from it for yourself, those you know, and those you are responsible for. It is sufficient to become affluent and well-known for something you consider significant.

Algar remained still for some time. It would be billions of years later. If the galaxies had not yet united or disintegrated, the stars were starting to die and they had spread out completely. With only one surviving species descended from the very first beings to awaken in the cosmos, Consciousness has survived for a very long time. a group of people called homocenees. Nearly all of the suny's ancestors and brothers had long since passed away, but the senis had persevered and evolved into a being that had gained some control over nature and was practically immortal.

Two cenis, a commander named Bethen and the Sovereign ruler of the entire species named Olam, perched on the edge of planetary bodies and gazed out at the last stars as they twinkled their last light. "We have explored the whole universe. Our species has studied all there is to learn and seen everything there is to see. Despite essentially becoming immortal, we now find ourselves in this situation without having discovered any sort of ultimate significance. And now, along with everything else, we are about to pass away. Why did it all matter? Bethen enquired.

Olam had a knowing expression, as if they had been anticipating the question and had known the answer for some time. "Our only goal in life is to survive and develop to the best of our ability.
