Time Travel Challenge Results
The real ones this time.

Hello one and all.
Once again, I cannot thank you all enough for the interaction of my unofficial challenge. I love hosting them, and just love reading through stories.
This is indeed the true results to my Time Travel Challenge, and not the (apologies for anyone who truly believed) faked results from before when I posted in late January. Believe it or not, I do not possess the ability to break through the barriers of time and space.
Some of you however have the ability to write exceptional tales, mystically woven with perplexity beyond belief. I can safely say that I enjoyed every single one of these stories, all of which exceeded my expectations and made for very difficult judging.
But alas, judge I must. For I am the creator of the challenge, I am the judge, the jury and the executioner.
Please note, I will send the prizes as tips as soon as I post, so in theory if you’re reading this and your story made it to my Top 3, you should hopefully have your dollar.
Sticking to my poor habit of breaking my own system, and having so many entries, undoubtedly there was a couple I couldn’t separate.. Woops.
Without further ado, the results, what you’ve all been waiting for:
In joint 3rd place:
The Art Of Projection - Lamar Wiggins
One second at a time. A great hero's origin story. I especially love astral projection and the history behind it and yet it didn't come to mind when I was thinking of this challenge!
And
Had me gripped from the start. Very cool concept and a great couple of twists at the end. Shocked that it didn’t get top story.
Sitting just behind first, in 2nd place:
One Day in November - Matthew Fromm
Captivating story that held the narrative without it feeling like a bullet pointed boring conversation. Lots to unpack in a short story, with a whole world being built in such a short time.
And my choice, a deserved 1st place:
Butterflies and Songbirds - Shaun Walters
Truly a stunning story of love, and such a cool concept when it comes to time travel. Enjoyed this greatly, as well as its sequel, however this I preferred. Really loved the whole concept, and how real it felt. A well deserved top story, and a deserved win of my challenge in my eyes.
I would urge people to host their own challenges, it’s good fun, even if you can’t give tips as prizes.
Thank you all again, and congrats to the winners, I hope you enjoyed writing them as much as I enjoyed reading them.
