THIS IS A PROTEST

AGAINST LACK OF INFORMATION FROM VOCAL

By Raymond G. TaylorPublished 9 months ago Updated 9 months ago 1 min read

Oh Vocal, what can I say?

You can't be having a brilliant day

But then neither and I. Why?

Not because of service disruptions,

Eruption of DoS attacks, or

Lack of access to the service

By me, my fellow creators,

And, most importantly, our loyal readers.

No, it is not this that is making me frustrated,

But the total failure to keep us updated.

Your loyal customers, that is,

The people who pay your wages.

O ~ o ~

In frustration at Vocal's complete failure to keep its users updated about ongoing technical and/or other service issues, I have decided to withdraw from the current challenge "Metamorphosis of the Mind" in Protest. This is despite having almost completed a written entry.

I give my reasoning here:

Is it the end for Vocal?

Watch this space for further updates on my one-person protest and anything arising.

Stand tall & firm & let yourself be both seen & heard, my friend.

  • I'm so sorry you had to withdraw from that challenge. It really is so frustrating

  • I was shutout for hours. Seems the it staff work us hours only

  • You say what I say, I don't mind the problems I hate the lack of information or response. Discord is dead for Vocal information now as it is many months since I got a response there. Thanks for posting this

I've been mindlessly refreshing and BAM- it worked. Why is a functioning site a surprise? When did that become OK?

You got stand up for yourself now-a-days when things are not going the way things are supposed to go. Good job.
