This serves as an index to all the Weedan stories I have written so far. I have chosen Elton John's Tiny Dancer to listen to while you look through the index if you would like.

Tiny Dancer was the first story I wrote introducing a Tiny Weedan that Mother Combs brought back from her travels as a gift for someone. It is written in a fairy tale style.

Wild Weedan was the second story I wrote about Mother Combs's travels around the world and talks about how she catches a one. It is written in more of an informative tone than the first one.

Fairy Garden was third in the Weedan series. I wrote this story poem about Mother Combs's early adventures and how she came across the first Weedans she had ever seen. It is a charming fairy tale-type story.

This is the fourth story in the Weedan series that I wrote. It is a poem about the Weedans allowing Mother Combs to witness a special Ceremony on one of her visits. This poem was written in free verse form.

In Mother Combs’s youth

When she was first traveling the world

She came across this dense forest

And decided to explore

So, hiking in the woods

Planning to spend the night

In the magnificent woods

She actually got quite lost

Her compass didn’t seem to work

And the forest was so dark

She couldn’t decide on which way was North

Instead of getting scared,

Mother Combs just continued searching the area

Looking for a familiar landmark

She came upon this bioluminescence clearing

Inside this clearing were the most magical flowers

That glowed in the dark woods

Fairies flew about tending to the flowers

There were mushrooms galore

With toads and frogs living amongst them

The fairies flew here and there,

And some even flew down towards her

The fairies seemed to want her to follow them

So, she allowed them to lead her

Through the beautifully unique garden

To a little village in the midst of the garth

Suddenly, little people-like creatures

Appeared before her

And signing to her in gestures

That was easy for her to understand

The critters proceeded to dance for her

Some even jumped onto her outstretched hands

To do their little excellent jigs

She named the wingless pixies Weedan’s

Mother Combs stayed and observed them

For months, until she’d learned as much about

Them as she possibly could

Before she left, she made promises to come back

And this is how Mother Combs found her first Weedans

I heard little people stories growing up. Lessons about staying away from the water when alone. Not going into the woods alone. Those are the two I remember the best.❤️

Love it! I'm behind but I'm tagging along for all your adventures. And thank you! I spent 7 minutes at the top singing with Elton, which kinda gives me the germ of an idea for writing an adventure down the yellow brick road with him. ⚡💙⚡
