The Thirsty Crow and the Clever Trick
How a Smart Crow Quenched His Thirst

On a hot summer afternoon, a thirsty crow was flying in search of water. The sun was blazing, and he had been flying for hours without finding a single drop. At last, he saw a garden and flew down, hoping to find water. There, he noticed a pitcher under a tree. The crow flew to it eagerly and looked inside. There was some water at the bottom, but it was too low for his beak to reach.
The crow tried to push the pitcher, but it was too heavy. Then he looked around and saw some small pebbles lying nearby. Suddenly, an idea struck him. He picked up the pebbles one by one and dropped them into the pitcher. As more and more pebbles went in, the water level rose slowly. Finally, the water reached the top of the pitcher. The crow happily drank the water and flew away, refreshed and satisfied.
Moral: Think wisely, act cleverly – and you will succeed.
