The Stranger Who Became a Friend

A Tale of Smiles and Sparkles

By Shan ZainPublished 2 years ago 1 min read

In a town where streets wind and bend,

I met a stranger who became a friend.

We passed each other every day,

But never really stopped to say,

"Hello! How are you today?"

Instead, we'd smile and look away.

But deep inside, we both could feel,

There was a bond that was very real.

Their eyes would sparkle, oh so bright,

Like stars that twinkle in the night.

I wondered if they felt it too,

This friendship that was oh-so-new.

In dreams, we'd play by the ocean's shore,

Building castles and so much more.

But morning would come, and they weren't there,

Just a feeling that lingered in the air.

I wonder if they think of me,

In this big world, just them and me.

Maybe one day we'll take a chance,

And turn this friendship into dance.

For now, I'll keep their smile in mind,

A treasure that's one of a kind.

Though they're still a bit unknown to me,

In my heart, a friend they'll always be.
