this love i made for you.

how do i spend it?
this love i saved for you.
it tightens in my throat
it burns up inside me
it streams from my eyes, closed
it no longer binds me
i screamed when i let go
the sound, it defied me
i'll give back to my soul
the breath to revive me
i'll stand Tall when i go.
with all that i now know
i thank you for my growth
i leave you beside me
i hold it in my view
i free it of misuse
i surrender it in truth
in peace will it find me
