CHAPTER ONE:- COINCIDENCE

International Airport of USA

“The flight from Delhi, India, to Florida, USA, is landing soon.”

''Please collect your luggage from gate no. 4''

A 24-year-old girl comes down from the plane, collects her luggage and starts to check out.

“Finally !! Here I am. It's chilly here. Thank God I packed some coats.”

She hails a cab to Tampa from Florida. As she has half an hour to get there, she takes a nap. Soon they reach the place of her hotel, and there the driver gets out to wake her up.

"Mam, wake up, please; your destination is here."

"Mam, get up."

She gets startled and gets up. Thanks the driver and checks in the hotel.

''Woah, Its so pretty. Pratik is lucky to be here.''

Standing in front of the long floor-to-ceiling window, adoring the beautiful sunset, she is lost in her thoughts.

..Ring Ring....

''Gosh, I was startled,'' she answered the phone.

'' Sis, where are you ? Shall I come to pick you up ? You are okay, right? ''

'' Pratik Pratik, calm down. I reached the hotel. Don't worry.''

"Thank God, Di, I thought you would get lost."

"Shut up, when did I get lost?"

"Oh, you didn't get lost?? Don't let me start."

"No, I wasn't lost. OK, I just went to help that old lady and forgot my way."

"That's counts as lost too."

"Shut up !!"

"Did you have anything to eat? Shall I come?"

"No, I will order it right now... I am not a baby, ok? I know how to take care of myself. You have an important work focus on that."

"OK, then I promise to come tomorrow and show you the whole town, till then stay out of trouble."

"Oh, come on, trouble comes finding me. What could I do ?"

"Shut it. Just stay out of it. Bye."

"Yeah Bye"

…..Stomach grumbling sound…

"Ah, I am hungry. I didn't eat much on the flight due to sickness."

While rubbing her hungry stomach, she looks through the menu card with her phone in one hand.

……Ring ring…..

"Hello, room service here."

" Hello sir, I would like to order dinner for my room."

"Yes, mam, what would you like to order? "

"Umm 1 tandori chicken, chicken legs, cheese fries."

"OK, mam, noted. Anything else, mam?"

"No, just send as soon as possible."

"OK mam. Thank you.."

"Let's take a bath till dinner comes," she says to herself.

She takes a long scented bubble bath and changes into a comfy oversized hoodie with shorts.

Takes a few selfies and posts them on her social media account.

Ping ping ping

Her phone blows with notifications from her fans on her posts; they are so cute and sweet. Always appreciate her and stand by her no matter what.

“Let's reply to a few of them till dinner comes,” she says to herself.

Knock knock

Knock knock

"Room Service here."

She gets up, rubbing her eyes, and opens the door to see that the hotel sent her dinner.

She takes the cart and says thank you to the staff and closes the door.

The thing she didn't notice is that the staff was completely in awe of her.

Inside the room, she freshened up and started having her dinner while watching her TV with her favourite show going on.

“Wow, it was yummy !! I need to appreciate them for it.”

Ring Ring Ring

She picks up her phone and sees that its from her best friend here.

"Hello"

"Hey dude, where are you ? Did you have dinner ? "

"Yes, Scar, I am having it right now, and I am staying in this hotel, Embassy Suites, in the middle of the town."

"Ah, that's cool then. There's this club. I will message you the address, which is the specialty of here. Let's go there tonight."

"Okay then, but drinks are on you, okay!?"

"Of course, girl, its on me to welcome you here."

"Meet me there then and call me when you reach okay."

"Okay"

Ping Message Notification

Scar:- The High End Club

Near language area, middle town.

Meet at 9:30 pm

Me:- Okay

She finishes her dinner and washed up and gets ready to go to the club.

Few hours later

9 pm

She checks the time and gets one last look in the mirror before going out.

"Damn, I look pretty hot !! "

She picks up the clutch, keys and wait for the taxi to come outside of the hotel.

When the taxi arrives, she gets into it and gives the address to the driver

Few minutes later

She gets out of the taxi and calls Scarlet (Scar).

"Hello, where are you? I reached the club !? "

"Wait a minute, I will come out to fetch you."

In a minute this young blonde comes out. Yes, that's Scarlet her best friend here.

She tightly hugs the girl.

"Baby, I missed you so much."

"Ah, Scar! be a little considering.You are choking me."

"Ah, sorry, sorry, I just missed you."

"It's alright, babe, I missed you too."

"Coming, let's go. I will introduce you to a few people. Maybe you will like one of them. winking "

"Oh common, I currently had a breakup. Let me live my single life for sometime. displeased look"

"Okay, okay, let's go now."

Both of them enter the club, and almost all eyes turn to look at them. Especially the new girl, as Scar is a frequent visitor there...

They reach her group of friends and introduce them.

"Hello guys, this is my best friend Tejasswi from India."

Replies of hello, hi, hey; can be heard from the group.

Someone says, "Not fair scar, why don't you introduce us too?"

"Mind it, Max, she is off limits."

"Okay, Mann, but I didn't mean it that way."

"Yeah sure"

"Teja, these are Tina, Max, Jack, Louis, RJ, and Shriti."

"Hello Guys Nice to meet you all. You can call me Teja," says Tejasswi.

"Sure," says the group.

"Guys, order whatever you want; bills are on me today," says Scar.

A few minutes later, drinks come in. The group is immersed in their own world, talking about anything and drinking.

Just then a different group enters the club and all eyes are on that hot guy in the middle of it. They take a seat in their usual corner and order their usual drinks

"Guys, order anything you want; Bill's on me today," says the guy.

"Woah, thats cool, then guys, dont be shy, lets make him lose some money today," says a blonde guy.

"Yeah, sure cool, "can be heard from the group.

" I dont mind ... suddenly something caught his eyes...

He follows the sight and sees a girl dancing in the middle of the stage...

Catching the beats of the song ...she looks like she is in her own world, enjoying her time.

A sweet, rare smile crept its way to his face as he watched her.

Teja and the group are enjoying their time on the stage...

When a guy comes in and starts flirting with Teja

" I am not interested, sorry," says Teja.

"But baby, let's get to know each other first," says the guy.

He reeks of alcohol and tries to hold Teja's hand.

Ahhhh, a loud shout cry can be heard in the music playing. It comes from that guy as someone twisted his hand and that someone is Teja herself.

She can't tolerate this shitty guy's behavior .

"I told you to stop right. This is what you get when you try to force a girl...

Mind it, not all will be merciful, like I am some might... you."

"Lets go, Scar. I feel like puking."

"Bye guys, see you next time."

"Lets go, Mann. We also don't want to stay anymore."

And they all left...

But something that never left were the eyes of that guy.

He was mesmerized by this hot, cute, and strong-headed girl.

He felt something in his heart but couldn't describe it.

When he saw that guy touch her, he was so angry that he got up to beat him.

But damn, that girl was fast.

He was standing in the same place, lost, thinking about her.

"Yo KK man, get back here."

And he looks back towards his friend calling him.
