The Chris Turner Random Topic Challenge
Five Random Topics, Exactly 100 Words, 20 Minutes or Less

In honor of British comedian Chris Turner who very skillfully and hilariously takes a set of random topic suggestions from his audience and turns them into a freestyle rap I am announcing the Chris Turner writing challenge.
The challenge asks that you take five random (one word) topics and use all of them in some way in a coherent, interesting, thought provoking, and/or funny story of exactly 100 words in 20 minutes or less. For generating the five random topics you can ask your friends or family or strangers or use a random topic generator like the one here at code beautify.
The first time I tried this the topic/words I got were: bats, boxing, mummies, toads, weaving. Below is what I came up with and it took me 7 minutes and 39 seconds. It is kind of a one trick pony approach, very meta, which I will not be able to use again. Might even consider it kind of a cheat but my challenge my rules so I allowed it. Plus I think it meets all my other criteria so I call it a success.
The First Ever Chris Turner Challenge Story
“You’re crazy man. There is no fucking way you can do that.” Steve thought his coworker Tim might be right. It was a crazy idea, and it had only occurred to him about an hour ago. “One hundred words exactly, incorporating any five random topics, in under twenty minutes. I’ll believe it when I see it.” “I’ll prove it to you right now man. Go ahead and hit me up with five topics” OK Steve I’m game, bats, boxing, mummies, toads, and weaving” Steve immediately began to type, after seven minutes and thirty nine seconds he stopped and said, “Done.”
