There's Always Time to Write
This article is an exploration of the concept I touched on in the poem, I Write Everywhere. But it also came from a realization I had one day when writing one particularly lengthy comment on Facebook. Two things came from this comment. First, was “wow” how long is this comment. It ended up being 300 plus words. The second was, well if I have time to sit and write a 300 plus word comment, I have time to write 300 or more words a day towards finishing a story, or writing some poems. So, then, what was I doing with my time? Clearly nothing as productive as I could be. So what did this mean to me? It meant that it was time for me to take my own advice. And that’s what I started to do.

My “Impossible” Poetry Challenge
If you want to take part in my poetry challenge here are the general rules I have set. Rules You can use any word you want. I reccomend trying one with 7+ letters. Only words that can be formed using the original word can be used. Letters can be repeated and reused. The final poem cannot be generated with AI. It’s okay to use sites that generate words with letters.

National Novel Writing Month: Preptober #1
Okay, first let's clear the air: I've NEVER completed the NaNoWriMo challenge, even though I've been participating almost every year since 2016. Call it bad luck, lack of drive, or lack of time, but the 50,000 words in a month thing has never been a reachable goal for me.

Write-a-witch awards
Of all the characters I have ever loved from film, TV, book, stage, or song, some of my favorites have been witches. Kind witches like Glinda or her nemesis the Wicked Witch of the West. From everyday witches like Samantha from Bewitched to the Wayward Sisters of Macbeth. Good witches, bad witches, literary witches or real witches, witches and witchery in fiction fascinate me. I have even ventured to offer my own interpretations of what it is to be a witch. I have added some links below.

Whispers of Love: A Silent Conversation
In a dimly lit chamber, bathed in the soft glow of flickering candles, two figures sat cross-legged facing each other. The air was heavy with the scent of sandalwood incense, and the distant rumble of a monsoon storm outside seemed to echo the tension in the room. On a low table between them, an ornate bronze statue of Lord Shiva stood as a silent witness to their unspoken exchange.
