4. Stay Hydrated and Snack Smart

5. Be Kind to Yourself
Life becomes messy, after all, and perfection is overrated. On occasion, I skip a workout or indulge in a treat; it's fine. Consistency over time is the secret; excellence every day is not. I remind myself that self-care is absolutely vital—it is not selfish.

6. Find Joy in the Process
Above all, I give activities I enjoy top priority. Staying active is more fun when it seems like fun than when it feels like a chore, whether that means an early yoga class, afternoon gardening, or just stretching while watching TV.
