A growing number of writers have reported a significant decline in their earnings per read on new stories and this has really sparked some heated debate within the Medium community for some time now.

Always Engage with the Community: Endeavor to do this because it is very important for your group. Treat it as seriously as writing content too, take part in discussions on Medium, and do well to reply to comments whenever you have one, and always establish connections with your readers as well as other writers.

Monitor and Adapt with the Algorithm: Keep an eye on your earnings so that you can adjust and change your strategy whenever the need arises because everything about Medium is an error and trial till we understand the algorithm better.

Although it’s hard to know exactly what has caused the recent decline in our earnings per-read, it’s not an independent phenomenon.
