Sometimes, you are the one who's unfair.

Sometimes, you are the one who didn't make time.

Sometimes, you are the one who avoided the hard conversations.

Sometimes, you are the one who assumed instead of asking.

Sometimes, you are the one who made excuses.

Sometimes, you are the one who took more than you gave.

Sometimes, you are the one who didn’t listen.

Sometimes, you are the one who judged too quickly.

Sometimes, you are the one who gave up too soon.

Sometimes, you are the one who didn’t check in.

Sometimes, you are the one who stayed too long when you knew better.

Sometimes, you are the one who broke trust.

Sometimes, you are the one who ignored the red flags because it was easier.

Sometimes, you are the one who chose comfort over growth.

Sometimes, you are the one who built walls.

Sometimes, you are the one who let your ego lead.

Sometimes, you are the one who pushed people away when all they wanted was to help.

Sometimes, you are the one who didn’t try hard enough.

Sometimes, you are the one who pretended not to care.

Sometimes, you are the one who didn’t forgive, even when you wanted forgiveness.

Sometimes, you are the one who let fear hold you back.

Sometimes, you are the one who mistook self-betrayal for love.

And sometimes, it’s easier to stay the victim.

To say it was their fault, or life’s fault, or anyone else’s fault but yours. But real change happens when you stop identifying as "blameless." When you can say, "Yes, this is the part I played. This is where I messed up. This is what I need to change."

Only then can you heal fully. Only then can you break free.
