COLOURS

What if COLOURS could speak?

What if they had feelings like you and I?

I wonder what they have always tried to say to us.

Maybe they tried to speak but we never listened to them.

Well, I got a way to listen so now listen to what they have to say.

Oh black ! She is judged the most,

She is said to be the devil and evil

Black came out to speak

“No! I am not like that, I am thoroughly misjudged “

“I am the richest of all colours“she said

“All other colours reside in me“

“If you stop and think about it,“ you will see that I am the mother of all colours .

White came out to speak

“I am known as the holiest“.

“But perfection is not in me,

I am like any other colour.“

“I make mistakes and do my best to correct them."

“Stop seeing me as perfect!”

“Try seeing me as other the other colours

Pink! He is always mocked by the other colours for being too girly.

“I am not girly!” he said .

“I am confident, bright and I wear my head like a crown."

“Most of you want to be like me but you lack the courage.”

“I put the C in courage and colours"

Brown and green sat side by side feeling gloomy .

They spoke in unison saying

“We are filled with beauty.

but they never see us, they are blinded by other shiny colours.”

“That is so sad, We are the colour of the earth.

The beautiful soil and vegetation radiates with our beauty."

“We are more than you think we are."

Blue, oh cool blue! He said:

“The word to describe me is cool calm and collected."

“I am peace itself, I am loved by those who love me and I love those who don’t."

“I am a lover of love and true friendship

“I am for all, male or female

Truth is ,I am love it self."

Red! Fierce Red in her aura.

Bold and striking at all times

Confident to the core,

She said proudly,

“I am confident and bold

I bring the world down when my presence is felt."

“I am beautiful and strong, sometimes, I can be love, other times, I can be evil” .

“Be like me and you will always be the center of attraction.”

yellow! Bright yellow !

Happy no matter the situation

The positivity king

He sat on his throne as he ruled his happy kingdom. He said,

“I stay true to myself always,

The only rule in life is happiness “

“Stay happy and positive at all times

Then you will have the world at your feet like me!”

Purple! sweet purple ever bubbly .

Bouncing around joyfully ,

“Bad times got nothing on me “ she said

“Be sweet like me and even on bad days you will find your self wearing a beautiful smile like me."

Here are some bunch of colours and their feelings.

They are more than just colours or what our eyes see.

They have feelings just like me

Anytime I am feeling just like them I will put on a colours of that feeling .

Just to remind me of what they said to me

And how they stay true and beautiful regardless.
