My Review of A Smart Notebook To Help Prevent Paper Waste
Talking about getting a notebook to waste less paper...

Like a lot of writers, I spend time using notebooks when it comes to writing, but I have started running into an issue that affects me in terms of my habits and my money and the environment - I end up buying a lot of notebooks and using up most of them. So much of my money goes into purchasing paper and notebooks since I enjoy writing by hand & the feeling of having something I can write on at anytime in my hand. To help deal with this problem, I bought something that should be a great solution - a smart digital notebook!
For those who do not know what I am talking about, there are notebooks out there that have hit the market with reusable sheets. With these smart notebooks, you write in said notebook just like you would write in a normal notebook before using an application or program to digitally save your writings. When you are finished saving your writings, you can then clear the pages you wrote on and reuse them as much as possible, giving yourself an almost permanent single-use notebook!
This kind of forever notebook is great for many writers and awesome for me - just one permanent notebook instead of constantly writing on various notebooks that I will have to ultimately dispose of. Plus, this is better for the environment with less paper waste!
There are a bunch of different smart notebooks on the market for this such as the Box Note Air 4C, the reMarkable 2, and the Moleskine Pen+ Smart Writing Set. With all of that, I decided to go to Walmart and get a smart notebook known as the RocketBook Fusion Smart Notebook. The notebook was only about forty dollars to get and came with a cloth to clean the pages after I utilize them and a Pilot FriXion Pen.
The notebook comes with a phone app for Android, so I downloaded that to my phone to start using the smart notebook. On the app, you can sign up with your email and then choose a method to save your notes in the cloud. Do you have a Google account and want to save things on your Google Drive or in Google Photos? Well, you are in luck because that is an option for where you save your digital notes. You can also save your writings to DropBox or turn them into a OneNote document you can save anywhere, including locations that are not in the cloud. There are many other options too showing that I now have so many ways to save my writings for later viewing and use.
Now with this new notebook, I do not have to worry about constantly wasting paper or having to purchase a lot more paper to write down all of ideas ever again!
