My journey from pencil to pen
Today, while I was filling out my exam sheet, I watched my vibrant past journey through my open eyes.

Today, while I was writing my history exam I got back all my memories of me in my freshman years. I thought, I never noticed that a piece of paper can hold so much essence of the past in it that it compels you to think and remember certain moments that you were missing remembering.
The professor distributed the sheets of the exam among us and we all started drawing margins. When I got to the part where we had to fill out all the information like; date, name, roll.no, section, etc, I saw the part that said -
1st year ○
2nd year ○
And I, as always had to fill that bubble, that moment I realized that there was a time when the same option instead of 1st year,2nd year said;
9th ○
10th ○
And that wasn't even all. I instantly got back to the time when we heard that next year we would be using pens instead of pencils. I still remember, the thrill of knowing that we'd be using pens, meaning we would get removers and we'd be writing like every adult, was more than winning a jet pot for us.
After we got our first pen in school, I started improving my handwriting with a pen and I remember, I used to copy text from every notebook of mine to get the same handwriting when I returned home.
After that, many years went by and I became more excited to enter into my 9th grade which is the first recognized degree at our Government level. At that time everyone used to to show this unique energy to enter the 9th grade. I prepared myself for the first day of the class and I came crying home. I told my parents," I don't wanna go there, all the students in my class are 'BIG' and they are kind of bullies." Then after a few days, when my father consulted the school we got to know that they were our seniors and I along with my friends was sitting in the wrong class.
[They were nice, and I got to know them in no time. I was just too afraid to handle their humor that time, we spent a golden time with them]
The story continued until I got a little hit by a marker from the back. I turned and saw my professor. He said, "Don't ask for extra time from me, you've already wasted 12 minutes", then I realized that the history of Pakistan was not the subject that I had a grip on. I rushed and started writing. Thankfully I completed it.
I think sometimes it just feels so good to remember all those moments of life that shaped you. Sometimes we should just sit tight and think about all those -Not highlighted points of your life that were fun.

Whaoo! Girl That's quite familiar! Great effort! Keep it up :)
You are right. Those were beautiful moments.
My dear sister! When you write about the realities of life and memories of the past, you seem like an incredible writer. Your words reminded me of those golden moments of childhood, which are the most precious for a student. I have the same memories of childhood as you do. You brought back the days when I used to write with a pencil, and I too felt a thrill the first time I wrote with a pen. Every word of yours carries the golden fragrance of those moments from the past that I might have experienced as well. Amazing writing, sister. Such moments in life inspire us to relive them again and again.💫😌✨
