Lost Match

Love digital

By Javier Published 9 months ago 1 min read

We live in times of click an scroll, of promises stored n chat bubbles, where love is swiped with a finger, and forgotten with a glance back. No more silent glances are exchanged, just emojis instead of truth, and "I love you" typed without weight in stories that vanish like a flash of youth.

We search through filters and profiles, collecting souls like a catalog page, hoping someone might understand us without speaking, without touch, without face.

Where did the nerves of firts meetings go?

The inked letters, the real time hush?

Now we love from behind our screens, yet fear the warmth, the natural rush. Thera are so many, no one stays, so much noise, no one hears, and in our fight to not be lonely, we´ve become more alone through the years.

We crave connection without the cost, intimacy with nothing to show, but love is not an app or an algorithm, It´s choosing someone, even when it´s slow.
