If there is a counterattack, "the response will be very big" Iran warned.

Tehran has warned that Iran will strike again with greater force in retaliation for last night's attack on Israel.

"If Israel retaliates against Iran, our response will be far greater than tonight's military action," Major General Mohammad Bagheri, chief of staff of Iran's armed forces, told state television.

Israel, backed by key Western allies including the US, UK, and Jordan, claimed it intercepted 99 percent of the launches during the massive offensive, but added that some ballistic missiles reached Israel, damaging the Nevatim air base in southern Israel, which is still there. functional

Iran's Defense Minister Brigadier General Mohammad Reza Ashtiani also warned that if any country helps Israel to attack Iran, they will suffer severe consequences.

In a statement, Ashtiani said that if any country opens its airspace or soil to Israel to attack Iran, they too will receive a final response.

Meanwhile, Israeli military spokesman Admiral Daniel Hagari said in a televised statement that the Iranian attack had been foiled.

"We resist, we resist, together we win," wrote Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
