I DID IT!
I entered the Vocal Writing Awards and invested in Vocal too!

I’ve been waiting for Vocal to come up on Freetrade for ages. I’ve wanted to invest in Vocal the most because it’s a platform that I have been a part of for so long. I invest with the small amount of money I have leftover each month.
I first started dabbling in investments a few a ways ago. I wanted to build a diverse portfolio that will generate some good income overtime.
I am on Vocal quite a lot. I was a bit reluctant cause of the minimum purchase of $102, but I am glad I did it because I don’t think there will be an opportunity like this again in a long while.

And another good thing I did was enter two poems in the writing awards. I was stuck between two poems. In the end, I ended up submitting both. I went through the poems I submitted and picked out some that had the most reads and I ended up narrowing it down between two choices.
The first one was inspired by two flowerpots that I had with pansies in them. One was red and the other was purple and one pot grew back and othe other one didn’t. I was aiming to connect mental health to flowers.
The second one was inspired by a Pokémon named Wooloo. Especially the shiny Wooloo because they are black with bright faces. I think Wooloo has a lovely design and I love the shiny form so much.
I submitted both in the end. Then I forgot to check if I was allowed multiple submissions. Had a look over the rules and it seemed to be okay. Phew, that’s a relief. At least I didn’t waste $10 dollars.
I had an appointment the day before the Sugababes gig. The nurse was lovely and kind, the majority of it was regarding my PCOS and treatment options. I was expecting the worst because I thought there would be needle picking and probing, but there was none of that at all. To sum it all up, I was told to lose more weight and take supplements and to contact a doctor if PCOS symptoms got worse. I’ve been prescribed Metformin, which all my life up until now I have been incorrectly calling it meta-morphine.
I think I need to go back to the doctor about my blood pressure cause readings have been a bit all over the place. At the surgery, it is always high, then when I test at home it is normal. But last night, I tested three times and the results seem weird. The first one was 130/79. The second was 110/70. And then the last one was 101/67.
I got put on a weight loss management plan from the doctor and downloaded a free app to track calories. It’s a good app, it’s been helping me plan my meals.
The loss management service gave me a choice of which services I can use for free in 12 weeks. I opted for the swim2slim scheme when it opens up.
Since taking the new medication I don’t feel so tired. I’ve been swimming 4 times this week and I have been in the pool longer than I used to. I normally swim for 20 minutes, but lately I can last for 30-45 minutes now.
My mum and stepdad got married yesterday. It was a lovely occasion. It was a simple ceremony and the lunch was lovely. The weather had been miserable all week but Friday the weather was warm and sunny. Everybody had a wonderful time and they complimented the bride and groom.
👼Someone is watching over us all.
