Want to use ChatGPT to write a killer blog post that actually sounds humane..

Ranks on Google, and doesn’t scream “I was written by AI”?

Then read this post till the end.

Because today I'll tell exactly how I use chatgpt to write my articles that doesn't sound robotic.

Start With the Right Topic

In this case chatgpt can help but it is not good enough.

I recommend to choose topic yourself either with the help of keyword research tools or your social media.

(Getting ideas to write is the whole topic on it's own, so if you want a post on it too, tell me in the comments)

I recommend you to go for something:

- Evergreen (won’t go out of date)

- Unopinionated (ChatGPT isn’t great with personal takes)

- Listicle-friendly (it loves lists)

Example for this post: Best Fonts to Use in Microsoft Word.

✅ Evergreen

✅ Listicle

✅ Fact-based

Use ChatGPT to Research and Plan

Start by asking ChatGPT questions like:

- “Why would someone search for this?”

- “What factors make a font great for Word?”

- “What are common font recommendations and why?”

Use the responses to create a rough list of ideas.

Then prompt ChatGPT to generate an outline:

“Using the info above, create a blog post outline for this topic.”

Then you can tweak the response as needed. Ask for one example per heading, remove fluff, or restructure sections.

Write Using ChatGPT But With Your Brain, Too

Now, use ChatGPT to expand each section of your outline.

BUT: Don’t just copy-paste and hit publish.

Do this instead:

- Ask for history: “Who designed this font and when?”

- Add your opinion: What do you think of this font?

- Include personal story to make it humane: When have you used it?

This combo of AI help + human voice is magical

Also, go to Google > search your keyword > scroll down to “People also ask” or “Related searches.”

Give those questions to ChatGPT tell it to include those as subheadings.

Edit Like a Pro (with ChatGPT’s Help)

Now comes the hardest part: editing!

Use ChatGPT to clean up and strengthen your draft:

a) Check for inaccuracies:

“Here’s my article. What info might be incorrect?”

AI will often “hallucinate” facts—this trick helps it correct itself!

b) Fix jargon or fluff:

> “What are some areas that sound too technical or robotic?”

Use your own judgment—AI sometimes replaces jargon with... more jargon.

c) Fill in missing pieces:

> “What key info is missing from this article?”

It sometime suggest points you never thought to include.

Add Human Touches

Here’s where you stand out.

- Use Canva to design simple visuals for your post (like font examples)

- Add alt text for accessibility

- Use tools for SEO fine-tuning.

- Want a table? Ask ChatGPT:

“Summarize this into an HTML table with [X, Y, Z] features.”

Common mistake writers make

Yes, AI can help you write faster.

And No, it shouldn’t replace you.

Don’t just say, “Write an article on the best fonts to use in Word” and call it a day.

That’s what thousands of others are doing.

Instead:

✅ Use AI to brainstorm, research, and structure

✅ Add your voice, opinion, and design

✅ Edit with care.

✅ Make it uniquely yours.

AI is your assistant, not your ghostwriter.

Treat it like a smart tool that helps you become a faster, sharper writer.

Wrap up

- ✅ Pick the right topic (Evergreen + Listicle + Unopinionated)

- ✅ Ask ChatGPT smart questions and build a strong outline

- ✅ Blend AI output with your own voice and insight

- ✅ Use ChatGPT to self-edit, fact-check, and improve SEO

- ✅ Add visual design, tables, alt text, and personality.
