How to Grow Microgreens at Home

Microgreens are tiny, young vegetable plants that you can easily grow at home. They grow quickly and are very healthy to eat.

Follow these simple steps to grow microgreens:

  • Choose seeds: You can use seeds like mustard, radish, or broccoli.
  • Prepare a tray or small container with some soil or growing mat.
  • Spread the seeds evenly on top of the soil.
  • Cover the seeds with a thin layer of soil or growing medium.
  • Water gently to keep the soil moist but not too wet.
  • Keep the tray in a warm place, and after a couple of days, put it near sunlight for 3-4 hours daily.
  • Water the seeds lightly twice a day.
  • In about 7-14 days, your microgreens will be ready to harvest when they are 2-3 inches tall.
  • Microgreens add fresh flavor and nutrition to salads, sandwiches, and smoothies. They are simple to grow and very good for your health.
