You have become obsessed with cataloguing the perceived flaws and misdeeds of others, while deliberately ignoring your own obvious shortcomings. Your mouth spews condemnations effortlessly, as you position yourself as the judge and arbiter of crimes not even brought before you.
You are constantly on the hunt, scavenging for people's mistakes so you can use them for malicious purposes like blackmail and backbiting. You revel in the misfortunes of others, arrogantly celebrating what you see as your own superiority.
Yet, you deliberately look away from your own glaring deficiencies, which far exceed those you so eagerly criticize in others. You gloss over your own spiritual leprosy, while magnifying the minor flaws of those around you.
You feign sainthood, demonizing others in a calculated attempt to gain popularity and boost your own ego. You flaunt temporary advantages, using them to run down others and blemish their growing reputations.
Instead of this obsession with the faults of others, you must turn your gaze inward. Scrutinize your own heart, your obligations to your family, your moral standing, and the impact you have on society. Are you truly a unifier, or have you become a destroyer? What kind of spouse and parent are you?
Examine your adherence to the fear of Allah and your commitment to upholding the teachings of your faith. Recognize that you are inherently "dirty" and in need of spiritual cleansing. Do not assume superiority over those afflicted - rather, appreciate the Almighty's protection and pardon upon you.
Use this blessed month as an opportunity to draw closer to God, seeking His guidance and the detergent to remove the stubborn stains from your own soul. May the Almighty purify and guide us all to the straight path.

Should We Not Try to Get Too Political?
Here's something you often hear people say, "I try not to get too political." I understand the sentiment and I sympathize with it... while at the same exact time, I completely disagree with the notion. Whether it's referring to social media or wherever, it's kind of unavoidable. You can attempt to sidestep it, not engage, leave the less important things for actual politicians to discuss... you can want it to not take over your life, your conversations, your relationships, and that makes perfect sense.
