More On My Current Vocal Situation
Introduction
Today is the twentieth of May. The last story I managed to publish on my main account was on the twelfth of May, and I was looking forward to publishing my three thousandth story last week. This was the story with an ironic title, considering what has happened to my account.
So, What Is The Situation?
This account is free, which means half the pay-per-read that my Vocal+ account gets, and the inability to enter challenges (I missed the Tattoo one because of this, I only got one early story in), plus the inability to edit published stories.
The way around the latter problem is to revert the story to draft, do your edit, then republish, so my apologies for the repeat publications where I have found errors or needed to enhance the story. One downside is that the one I was hoping to get on the Leaderboard may only count the comments/hearts since the last publication, even though it was only published on the fourteenth of May. It has twenty-eight hearts and twenty-three comments but we know Vocal are good at missing the big picture.
Yesterday, my main account only got eighteen reads, which are almost all from my "creeping" (not "creepy") stories, which include most of my top ten reads, but I just get a couple from them each day, and without new publications, the account is stagnant.
This account is allowing me to publish and when I revived it, there were seven stories here; there are now twenty-three.
I have never drawn money from the account, although a top leaderboard one would enable me to take some money out.
I finally got some replies from Vocal on the situation yesterday. In my job, people often come to me with an issue and say "There's something wrong with the system". I then have to go back and ask them to tell me what their problem is.
Vocal managed to turn this around with their answer to my problem.
This was the issue which shows a story with no content getting the error
This was the "solution", which would only work on an existing story, not an empty one.

Thank you for reading my complaints I appreciate all the support that you are giving me.

Really sorry you're going through all this — frustrating doesn’t even cover it. Hoping Vocal sorts it out soon.
What you'll need is to export the work already done to this account. Perhaps Vocal can help with that, but it will take some time.
