Have you ever watched an incredible comeback in the NFL and thought, that's got to be one of the biggest comebacks in NFL history? Have you? Have you then wondered, what is the biggest comeback ever? How did this comeback that I just witnessed stack up against other large comebacks throughout the years. Well, I've got the video for you.

A little tidbit for you before you dive into the video to see all the best comebacks ever, there have been only 9 times a team has come back to win a game after trailing by 25 or more points. That is significant because when you face a 25-point deficit, that means it is a four-score game, no matter how you slice it. You need four scores. There have been quite a few 24-point comebacks, but those technically only require three scores from your team (three touchdowns each with a two-point conversion) to tie it. A 25-point deficit would still have you trailing by one. So, this video highlights these 9 biggest comebacks ever.

Obviously, you can dive right into the video and see all the best comebacks ever, and I worked on this script recently and did my best to put it all together in the best way possible, highlighting interesting facts, and combing the internet for clips to be added in. It was a lot of fun. But if you're interested to know a little more about the process before diving into the video, well, I suppose that's what the rest of these paragraphs are for.

Your first thought may be, wow, 9 times a team has comeback from 25+. I wonder who the 9 teams are. Ah! Not so fast! It's 8 teams. Because one team did it twice! I know, pretty incredible. You may also be wondering, oh man, who were the 9 teams who totally blew a huge lead? Ah! Not so fast again! Because one team blew a historically huge lead twice! Oh, poor mystery team. Before you feel too badly, at least that particular team also owns one of the biggest comebacks ever. So, they appeared on this list three times, at least one time was being on the right side of history.

This list, of course, has the biggest comeback of all time, it has the biggest playoff comeback of all time, and it has the biggest Super Bowl comebacks of all time. (My personal favorite. And in my extremely biased opinion, the best one ever.)

I really enjoy writing for this YouTube channel, The Gridiron. I have had many freelance jobs, many of them writing for YouTube channels, in this is one of my favorites... if not my favorite that I've ever had. A lot of that has to do with the client that you work with, who treats it like we're all teammates in a genuine way, but also I enjoy the responsibility and ownership and creative freedom I have been given. I am not just the writer of the scripts, but I am also the director to an extent. It isn't just about writing a script and passing it along, I have a vision with many portions of the script, and so I get to explain that to the other teammates we have, and watch as they do an excellent job executing that vision and bringing it into reality.

And as for this particular video, I loved researching all the biggest comebacks. It's such an amazing and fascinating thing in sports, it's like a moment in a movie, watching a team come all the way back, battling demons, battling their opponents, battling self-doubt, and obtaining victory. I'm a huge movie lover, maybe that's why I'm a sucker for a good comeback. It feels so cinematic. I hope you feel the same way when you watch the video, because we do our best to bring you exciting videos with a cinematic-like quality.

There's just something about a 28-point lead that feels cursed after that one Super Bowl. For example, the Vikings went up 28 points in the first half versus the Packers a couple weeks ago (Packers put up 7 points just before the half ended). Then, two very different teams emerge in the second half and I watch in the middle of the Vikings watch party as they nearly throw it all away (31-29). Again, the curse of a 28-point lead.
