The world had changed.

Five years had passed since Thanos snapped his fingers and wiped out half of all life in the universe. Cities were quiet, homes were empty, and even the Avengers were broken. Tony Stark had settled into a peaceful life with his daughter, Morgan. Steve Rogers led a support group. Thor had disappeared into self-blame and beer. Only Natasha and a few others kept trying to keep the world together.

But then—hope returned.

Scott Lang, better known as Ant-Man, escaped from the quantum realm by a freak accident. For him, only five hours had passed. He rushed to the Avengers and shared a wild idea: time travel. If they could go back in time and collect the Infinity Stones before Thanos got them, maybe—just maybe—they could bring everyone back.

Tony was hesitant. He had something to lose now—a family. But his genius mind couldn’t rest. After nights of testing and one too many juice boxes, he cracked it: the key to time travel.

The team slowly came back together. Bruce Banner had become Professor Hulk—strong, but calm. Thor, though a shadow of his former self, still had lightning in his blood. Even Hawkeye, who had turned into a deadly vigilante after losing his family, returned for this one chance to make it right.

They called it the “Time Heist.”

Split into teams, they traveled to key points in history: New York in 2012, Asgard in 2013, Vormir, Morag, and more. There were laughs, surprises, and painful memories. Tony met his father. Steve saw Peggy. And on Vormir, Natasha made the ultimate sacrifice—giving her life so the others could get the Soul Stone.

Back in the present, they forged a new Infinity Gauntlet. Hulk, with his immense strength, took the risk of snapping his fingers. The pain was unbearable—but it worked. Birds chirped outside. Phones rang. Clint’s wife called. They had done it.

But Thanos had found out.

The past version of Thanos followed Nebula into the future. And with him came destruction. He bombarded the Avengers compound from the sky. Rubble fell. The team was scattered.

Thor, Iron Man, and Captain America stood together to face him. It was a brutal battle. Cap proved himself worthy, lifting Mjolnir to fight side-by-side with Thor. But Thanos was strong—too strong.

Then, the portals opened.

One by one, heroes returned. Black Panther. Spider-Man. Doctor Strange. Guardians of the Galaxy. Wakandan warriors. Asgardians. Sorcerers. Giant-Man. Valkyrie. It was everyone.

The battlefield exploded with hope.

Iron Man shared a brief moment with Peter Parker. Scarlet Witch faced off against Thanos, nearly tearing him apart. Captain Marvel flew in like a meteor, destroying Thanos’ ship.

But in the chaos, Thanos still reached for the Gauntlet.

Doctor Strange looked at Tony. One finger raised. One chance.

Tony lunged. He wrestled the stones from Thanos’ hand and fixed them to his suit. Thanos snapped—but nothing happened. Tony looked at him, weak but defiant.

“I am… Iron Man.”

He snapped.

Thanos and his army turned to dust.

But Tony was only human. The power of the stones burned through him. Peter cried. Pepper held his hand and whispered, “You can rest now.”

And the world wept.

At Tony’s funeral, everyone gathered—from the boy he helped in Iron Man 3, to Nick Fury in the distance. The arc reactor floated on the lake. “Proof That Tony Stark Has a Heart.”

Steve returned the stones to their rightful times. But he didn’t come back through the portal. Instead, an old man appeared on a bench.

He had lived his life.

Married Peggy. Danced with her. Loved her.

And now, he handed his shield to Sam. “It’s yours now.”

The battle was over. The universe was safe.

But their stories would live on—heroes, fallen and rising, in a world forever changed.
