Otherwise the whole point of change that we demand in our mother especially in Governance will be of Nothing.

Signs and symptoms of change are already becoming evident in this beloved motherland, home to almost 1.5 billion people. In Africa, the younger generation now comprises a significant portion of the population, yet they are often governed by leaders who hail from a vastly different era. These leaders, shaped by a time with different challenges and perspectives, may struggle to connect with the aspirations and values of today's youth.

As years to come the Younger population is growing rapidly in Africa and been that this current generation of this young people are well educated and well informed to know their rights and identify the problems we have in society especially when it comes to Governments seems to be one of the biggest issues that we need to address and taken seriously

when it comes to Africa Its very common to see the kind of problems we have when it comes to Government. And three of this main problems are corruption, weak institutions and Political instability. Of which Africa still struggles to get to move forward which immensely slows the goals of what truly Africa needs to be, A continent whereby its should be of great opportunities where people can enjoy and utilize.

From the years of the 1950s to the 1990s, African countries finally gained their independence from their colonial masters, making it possible for African men and women to not only have the freedom and the rights to be in their land but also to enjoy them without oppression, exploitation, and foreign domination.

This was fought having very driven by a strong desire for self-determination, mobilized populations across the continent. Leaders such as Kwame Nkrumah of Ghana, Jomo Kenyatta of Kenya, and Nelson Mandela of South Africa became symbols of the struggle against colonial oppression.

Their efforts, along with the collective resilience of the African people, dismantled the colonial structures that had long suppressed their rights and freedoms. This period of liberation not only reshaped the political landscape of Africa but also sparked a renewed sense of identity and pride among its people, laying the foundation for future development and unity.

However, in today's world, the narrative has changed, and it seems Africa is facing a very different problem. This time, it has nothing to do with colonialists coming into our land and occupying it forcibly. Instead, it has become voluntary, as our so-called leaders go outside to secure big grants and loans, ostensibly to sell the dream of Africa becoming like first-world nations. This involves ensuring we have developments for our Africa not only to grow but also to become a land of wealth and prosperity.

But instead it seems our very own leaders have cheated us to believe that they will bring such hope back at home but instead ending up using this "loans" from the west/east and put their own stomachs first instead of putting the interest of the people first.

And by this, Africa is suffering from results of having bad leaders whereby they put values aside, and instead use selfish interests to get whatever they want at the expense of the very people who put them in power.

It is time we the people have come to identify how important it is to really vet leaders that we put in power we make sure if they have great values and delivery on the things that they have promised on the ideas that they manifested to the people.

some of this Values that need to be checked are integrity, Accountability, Empathy, vision, communication, resilience, fairness e.t.c. Such values are been ignored, for the result of this we are ending up with men and women whose vested interests are not of the people.

We the people should really know and realize that we have the power to make sure that or motherland are governed by people who are for the people. Having to elect leaders should not be on the basis of tribe, wealth and just dirty politics.

It should be on the basis of Great values of leadership, actions and realistic ideas that the people in this continent can benefit to build and create a better tomorrow for this continent.
