Fake Jewelry: Harishankar returns to work after a few months. At that time, he was demoted from Deputy Superintendent to Inspector. On his first day back on duty, he attacks a woman who was involved in a chain snatching case. Following this, the police bring a man to him for pawning fake jewelry.

The person who pawned the fake jewelry is named Chandrababu (Jagadish). He says that he is a conductor in the State Transport Corporation and that he bought this chain as a birthday present for his daughter from a jewelry store. Later, Harishankar meets Chandrababu's daughter in person. From the first moment he sees her, he realizes that she is the one who replaced the original jewelry with the duplicate.

Twist: When Harishankar, who knows that Chandrababu's daughter is lying, asks where the jewel is, another twist awaits. Then, the woman tells what happened. She says that a man had been intimate with her and that he must have taken the jewel. When Chandrababu is called for questioning the next day, he refuses to bring his daughter.

Suicide: The very next day after the investigation, Chandrababu's daughter commits suicide at home. Shocked to hear this news, Harishankar goes straight to Chandrababu's house.
