99 Names of Allah [Asma-ul-Husna] | With Meaning
Importance of Asma-ul-Husna {99 Names of Allah}
“And (all) the Most Beautiful Names belong to Allah, so call on Him by them…” [al-A’raaf 7:180]
Our beloved Prophet (SAW) said the following about the Asmaul Husna:
“Allah has ninety-nine names. Whoever memorizes and embraces (ihsa) these qualities will enter heaven” (Bukhari)
Abu Huraira reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said,
“Allah has ninety-nine names and whoever preserves them will enter Paradise.”
(Ṣaḥiḥ Muslim 2677)
Abu Huraira reported Prophet Muhammad SAW as saying:
Verily, there are ninety-nine names for Allah, i.e. hundred excepting one. He who enumerates them would get into Paradise. And Hammam has made this addition on the authority of Abu Huraira who reported it from Prophet Muhammad SAW that he said: “He is Odd (one) and loves odd number.”
(Sahih Muslim – Book 35 Hadith 6476)

Reward of learing Asma Ul-Husna
If one learns 99 names of Allah and acts in accordance with them, will bring a great reward, as is indicated in the hadeeth narrated by Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him), in which the
Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: “Allah has ninety-nine names, one hundred less one; whoever learns them will enter Paradise.”
(Reported by al-Bukhari, al-Fath, no. 2736)
