3 Friends
The tale of Tunde, Nneoma and Emeka

Three friends, Tunde, Nneoma, and Emeka, ventured into the dense Nigerian jungle, eager to explore the ancient ruins hidden within. As they trekked deeper, the air grew thick with humidity and the sounds of the rainforest intensified. Their excitement turned to dread when they stumbled upon a cryptic warning etched into the stone walls: "Beware the guardian of the ruins."
Dismissing the ominous message, they pressed on, until a sudden rustling in the underbrush caught their attention. A monstrous anaconda emerged, its unblinking eyes fixed on the trio. The snake's gargantuan body slithered silently through the shadows, its massive coils tightening like a noose.
Tunde, Nneoma, and Emeka fled in terror, their footsteps echoing through the ruins. The anaconda pursued, its relentless pursuit driving them deeper into the jungle's heart. As they raced against time, the snake's grip closed in, its crushing force snapping trees and crushing boulders with ease.
One by one, the friends vanished, dragged into the darkness by the merciless serpent. The last to fall was Emeka, who faced the anaconda's deadly gaze alone. As the snake's jaws opened wide, Emeka realized the horrifying truth: the guardian of the ruins was not just a warning – it was a curse.
Emeka who somehow became the sole survivor, stumbled back into the village, his eyes wild with terror. He collapsed at the feet of the village elder, gasping for breath. The elder, sensing the gravity of Emeka's tale, summoned the villagers to gather around.
With a trembling voice, Emeka recounted the horror: the ruins, the warning, and the monstrous anaconda that had hunted them down. He spoke of his friends, lost to the jungle's deadly embrace. The villagers listened in rapt attention, their faces etched with fear and disbelief.
As Emeka finished his tale, a collective shudder ran through the crowd. The villagers knew the legend of the anaconda, a creature said to be born from the darkness of the jungle itself. They knew that once you entered its domain, there was no escape.
From that day forward, Emeka was forever changed, haunted by the memories of his friends and the unblinking gaze of the anaconda. The villagers whispered of his encounter, a cautionary tale told around campfires, a reminder of the terrors that lurked in the heart of the jungle.
And so, the legend grew, a warning to any who dared venture into the ruins, where the anaconda waited patiently, its deadly coils ready to strike.
