Established for more than 25 years, Asian Rich List (ARL) and GG2 Power List (PL) remain the superlative success of British Asians. These lists trace not only the richest and most influential Asians in Britain but also a story about ambition, innovation, and the leadership of British Asian communities. From billionaires like Lakshmi Mittal to the country's first Asian Prime Minister, Rishi Sunak, these annual rankings are a celebration of those shaping the future of the UK. The Asian Rich List 2024, launched on November 15th at the 25th annual Asian Business Awards, features the UK's 101 wealthiest Asians. Sanjay Hinduja and wife Anu unveiled the publication in front of 500 guests at the Park Plaza Westminster Bridge, including MPs, CEOs, and business and community leaders.

Reflecting a changing political landscape and its increased Asians' influence in mainstream leadership positions, at the top of the rankings of the 2023 edition of the GG2 Power List was Rishi Sunak, the UK's first British-Asian Prime Minister. The other notable personalities on the 2023 GG2 Power List are former Home Secretary Sajid Javid and Mayor of London Sadiq Khan.
