Classic 50s Cars - The tailfin and swivel seat
As a lover of old cars I find it fascinating to look back at vintage advertisements, which are enlightening. The 1959 model year featured gas guzzlers, mostly with V-8 engines. Case in point the Pontiac Tempest 420E where the ad touts the fact that it gets better gas mileage than "economy engines." The front profile is also very stylish with the dual grills featuring two lights on each side, almost like a pair of snake eyes.

Formula 1 Events Which Are Movie Worthy (1970-90 Edition)
Formula 1 has so many events which can be plotted into a film. Like the movie ‘Rush’ starring Chris Hemsworth as James Hunt and Daniel Bruel as Niki Lauda, which is in the heart of every F1 enthusiast. Pop Up Headlights
The year was 2014 and it was our tenth wedding anniversary. To celebrate we sent the kids on ahead to Disney with my parents and took two days just the two of us to drive down and have our own little adventure. This left me with an important decision to make, what care were we going to take. A convertible cruiser seemed to be a likely pick. Now my uncle was generous enough to offer us one of his cars to take and choosing between his fleet at first seemed to be difficult. Eventually though I realized that one of the cars was the same age as our marriage and the decision was made. Of course, the fact that it was a 2004 special edition Chevrolet Corvette probably helped it to be picked as well.

What is Overlanding? What is the best way to get started?
Love of nature and the pursuit of finding one's true self in the wilderness. Watching clear skies, waking up to a beautiful sunrise and sunset with our loved ones have been a dream for many of us. Enjoy nature leaving all our worries, stress, and electronics behind. Even though men/women have been building and refining the indoors, the feeling that pulls us towards mother nature is still strong.

68 Shelby GT 350
Growing up, my family had a special connection with cars that extends even to today. As such I got to drive some amazing and strange vehicles during my youth. But the one that stands above the rest vehicles was my dad's 1968 Shelby Mustang GT 350.
