Common Mustang Misconceptions. Top Story - January 2018.
The Mustang lifestyle isn't for everyone. With many models being hated and others adored, the Mustang is one of America's most influential and controversial sports cars. I've gotten a lot of feedback through the years and it is always one of a few things.

Pedro
It was an annoying February day in 2016 that my boyfriend and his best friend took me to see this car. When I first saw it, a 1987 Toyota Camry Wagon LE with a trash bag was covering up a window, it didn't even run; but for $300, it was mine. Of course, me at the time being a mother of two, I didn't want something that didn't run. I needed something NOW. However, my boyfriend finally convinced me to get it, and we took it to Victory Auto where I paid nearly $1,000 for the timing. Thankfully, it started right up. Now, if you're from Florida and you're 20 years old, you'll know how expensive registering your vehicle is. Nearly $500 for registration, title, and tag, etc. It was EXPENSIVE.

Easy Ways to Get Rid of Odors in Cars
Everyone has that one friend whose car smells like death. Maybe it's because they spilled fish from a fancy restaurant on the floor, or maybe it's because their other buddy puked in the backseat—but whatever the reason is, it reeks in their car.

Best Police Cars from Around the World
Back when I was living in Newark, I remember hearing my budtender talk about how police cars were modified for more power. I asked him how he knew this to be the case, and he said, "Think about it this way: How else would they be able to catch up to criminals driving similar cars?"

14 Reasons a P.O.S. Car Is the Best Car. Top Story - January 2018.
I've owned several cars in my lifetime. And right now I have a really nice 4Runner, but I've got to tell you...my favorite car was a branded title 15-year-old car with 165,000+ miles on it that I bought for $2000. When I finally got rid of it, my cousin got it, and it used to just shut off while he drove on the freeway. This caused him to have to pop it into neutral, and restart the engine. Safe. But let me tell you, he also loved that car.

The First Car
Look, we all have that dream car. We all do, don't deny it. We all have seen or heard about that car we have to have. No matter what we do, we must have that car. I have had the same dream car since I was about 17. It's been a 1967 Chevy Chevelle SS, and it is the only car that I would ever own that would be a manual, because I am strictly an automatic driver—always have been, always will be. But this article isn't about the dream car, it is about our first car, which is just as poetic as that dream car that we all hope to get. I look back, and while my first car was a piece of shit, it was mine. I bought it with my own money, I didn't have help with it, I didn't rely on others to buy it for me. I bought it. I could call it mine. It was my first bit of freedom when I was a kid; it was my whole world. I could go and do whatever I wanted. I had a way to leave the house and travel around, go to the movies, go to work, and not have to wait or, god, hope someone would want to take me. No, I had something that could do all of that at the snap of my fingers.

Forgotten Features from Old Cars That Still Look Cool
I may be a young buck, but I still have old fashioned tastes—particularly when it comes to cars. Old cars have a lot of features and styles that just really made them unique, beautiful, and downright impressive feats of engineering. New cars just all seem the same, and that's just not cool.

Best Air Intake Systems You Need for Your Ride
Most people, or as I call them "casual drivers," are not really interested in their car's air intake. This makes sense, since most people are just interested in making sure their car gets from Point A to Point B without dying.

Essentials for Your Car Emergency Kit. Top Story - January 2018.
Even if you drive one of the most reliable cars out there, there is still a possibility of breaking down and becoming stranded—which obviously can be scary. Scarier yet would be breaking down without any tools for an emergency situation.
