Ferrari unveils plug-in hybrid model
Ferrari SF90 Stradale officially unveiled

A few days ago, Ferrari officially released its first production plug-in hybrid model - Ferrari SF90 Stradale, the new car is equipped with a 3.9-liter twin-turbo V8 engine and three electric motors composed of a hybrid power system, its maximum power of 1000 horsepower, to assist it to 0-100km/h acceleration time of just 2.5 seconds and 0-200km/h in 6.7 seconds while generating 390kg of downforce when reaching 250km/h. The launch of these car floorboards opens a new chapter in the electrification of the brand.
Combining the actual car and the official pictures, the new car features raised curved wheel arches on both sides of the front end, together with the narrow and flat headlights, giving it a strong overall visual impact. At the same time, the lower part of the front of the new car adopts a larger opening, which will give the new car more downforce while reducing weight, and of course, this design also makes the car look full of fighting style.
From the side, the Ferrari SF90 Stradale has a hidden A-pillar design and a unique aerodynamic shape behind the side windows, presenting a combat-ready air intake design. At the same time, the new cockpit, with its smaller front area moved further forward in the vehicle, completely reshapes the proportions of the production Berlinetta with a mid-rear engine layout that Ferrari has applied to the 360 Duodena sports car since two decades ago. This is also to significantly increase the power output and lead to better heat dissipation, as well as effectively enhance the downforce of the vehicle to ensure maximum stability in all driving situations and speeds.
At the rear, a large number of horizontal straight elements are used, and the taillights are quite distinctive as they consist of four rounded rectangles. It is understood that for the first time, two versions of the model are officially available for customers to choose from, including a standard version and a more sporty configuration. the Asset-to Fiorano configuration version features a significantly optimized and upgraded configuration, including special Multicast dampers based on GT racing cars, and also equipped with high-performance materials made of carbon fiber (doors, floorboards rds) and titanium (springs, exhaust). The car is also equipped with lightweight components made of high-performance materials such as carbon fiber (doors, floor pan) and titanium (springs, complete exhaust), thus reducing the weight of the car by 30 kg. Other differences include the carbon fiber rear spoiler, which generates 390 kg of downforce at speeds of up to 250 km/h. The Asset to Fiorano is equipped with Michelin Pilot Sport Cup II tires specially designed to improve performance on dry track surfaces, with softer tread and fewer surface grooves than the tires used on the standard version.
According to the official statement, the driving concept derived from the race track, "Eyes on the road, hands on the wheel", has become a central design consideration for the new Ferrari cars for the first time, and has greatly influenced the ergonomics and interior style of the cars. Under the influence of this philosophy, the new car features a new Human-Machine Interface and interior layout that are completely different from those of previous models. It adopts a new three-spoke multifunction steering wheel, which incorporates a touch screen and a large number of touch buttons inside, thus making it easier for the driver to control most of the functions.
The new car also adopts a 16-inch curved electronic LCD instrument panel, which makes the new car very technological quality. At the same time, the new gear shift mechanism adopts a grille design, which is inspired by Ferrari's classic manual gearshift paddles. This design is a blend of classic and modern elements, giving this Ferrari hybrid sports car a fascinating future style. It is worth mentioning that the new car is also equipped with a start switch supported by Ferrari's physical key-less technology for the first time. In the future, this feature will gradually be extended to the entire Ferrari model line-up with personalized model names. The central panel also features a special storage space that blends perfectly with the new car's interior layout.
In terms of power, the Ferrari SF90 Stradale is equipped with a hybrid powertrain consisting of a 3.9-liter twin-turbo V8 engine and three electric motors, with a maximum power of 1,000 horsepower. Meanwhile, the new car will be equipped with a four-wheel drive system (RAC-E) to assist it in accelerating from 0-100km/h in just 2.5 seconds and from 0-200km in 6.7 seconds. In addition, the car will offer four power modes for drivers to choose from.
