Do you want to explore? The highest temple of Lord Krishna with Wild Travel, which is stands at 12,000 feet and is one of the oldest temples in India. Its history is connected with the Hindu epic Mahabharata and the legend of Pandavas. It is said that the Pandavas built the temple and a lake during their exile in the Himalayas. The temple is in a small village called Yulla Khas in the Kinnaur district of Himachal Pradesh. The locals admire and consider the temple sacred, and legends say that Lord Krishna himself visited the site.
The best time to visit Yulla Kanda
The best time to visit the temple is in the summer and early autumn (May to October). The weather is pleasant, and the trekking routes are clear of snow. The monsoon months (July to August) can be pretty challenging due to slippery paths and worms in the jungle. The winters are quite beautiful with the snowfall but are the most difficult. The temperature drops negative, and hailstorms can be experienced during the trek.

Autumn (September to October): 10°C to 18°C during the day, while 3°C to 8°C during the night.

Where to stay in Yulla Kanda?
Yulla Khas is a tiny village that has only one homestay. The homestay is at the village's starting point, just before the bus stop. The rooms are pretty comfortable and clean, and the price is very reasonable. The homestay is managed by a family of three: a couple and their son. The people of the town are kind and generous. The owners offer apples from their yard and the opportunity to have dinner with them.
Once you have started your trek to the temple, you will find camping sites at the top. Camp 1 only opens during the on-season, but Camp 2 stays open in the off-season. Camp 2 is managed by two men who are helpful and friendly. The tents are comfortable and have enough warm blankets to keep you warm during the night.
The city also has only one dhaba, managed by a pretty old lady. She offers parathas, Maggi, tea and plenty of gossip. (Give her a thumbs up if you visit her dabha).

Difficulty:
The trek is moderate to challenging, even for seasoned adventurers.
You will mostly find stone steps till you reach the waterfall. After crossing the waterfall, the jungle starts, and the path becomes rugged. You will find a gate that welcomes you when you cross the jungle. The trek becomes a little more complicated after crossing the jungle. You will then have to hike a steep mountain to reach the temple.
