Weekend Getaway in Isle of Wight
Need a getaway from the hustle bustle city of London?

No passport? Tired of queuing through the customs or boarding the plane? With its vast skies and meandering oceans, Isle of Wight (IoW) has an eerie beauty of all its own!
The returning of heatwave in August made our weekend trip to the Isle of Wight much more enjoyable
Where to Stay - Whitecliff Bay Holiday Park

Our stay
We were lucky enough to grab for the last "caravan" available at Whitecliff Bay Holiday Park five days before the sunny weekend! It was all fully booked as there's a bank holiday connected to the weekend. This holiday park is located at Bembridge, east side of IoW. There's a bus (route 8) that brings us from Ryde Pier. Very suitable for family with kids as they have lots of fun activities throughout the day, including mini golf, both indoor and outdoor swimming pools, outdoor cinema and etc.
Very comfortable stay, with all the necessities you need.

THE MUST GO ATTRACTION >> THE NEEDLES

Bus route seven brings you right to this landmark attraction from Newport. There's also a bus called Needle Breezer that drives you up to the top for sight seeing, with also explanations about the history in the bus.
The Garlic Farm

Just as you would expect from its name, The Garlic Farm offers you a variety of garlics, which I've never known the differences before visiting here. If you are a garlic lover, there's no reason for you to miss this. They have a restaurant which serves breakfast and lunch as well.

And more to go

Capturing Mother Nature at its finest
There are a lot more places to visit as well, including the steam railway, Osborne House, Amazon World Zoo, Sandown beach, Shanklin Chine etc. As the buses only operate hourly, be sure to plan nicely ahead so you don't end up wasting 59 min waiting for the next bus. :D
I would personally recommend to rent a car and drive around as it gives you a lot of flexibility and saves up A WHOLE LOT OF TIME!
