My name is Sierra and like so many people, I’ve always dreamed of traveling the world. The thing about dreams is that you can spend so much time wishing that it becomes easier to think it’s impossible over time. Everyone experiences it, this dream deferred. I used to imagine and create lists of all the places I’d go and the things I’d do. I’d even think of the languages I’d learn in the process and the countries I’d consider moving to.
Over the years, all of that dreaming continued to grow until it got to the point of saying, “I can’t do that. That’s not possible right now. What about school? I would, but what about work?” The biggest question I asked was “What about money?” I had convinced myself that the only reason I couldn’t live my dreams was because I didn’t have money. That’s a pretty important factor. If you can’t afford to do it, how will it get done? Many of us struggle with that one question every day, especially when so many people are trying to regain their footing now.
I’d always follow all of these Instagram accounts and look at my friends who worked for airlines and wonder how I could do it too. Until one day, I stopped wondering. Not because I stopped dreaming, but because I was finally ready to do whatever it took to make it possible. I needed to allow myself to travel at least one time so I could finally cross something off of my bucket list after years of convincing myself it couldn’t be done until I finished school or until I had a good paying job. I took the first step and applied for a passport so that I could set off for Costa Rica.
It was one of the best decisions I’ve made in my life and one of the most unforgettable. It was such an enriching experience because I was able to connect with nature, build my confidence knowing my language skills allowed me to connect with people, and most importantly, it let me know I could. I can. Since that trip in 2018, I’ve been to several more countries and even started traveling across the US as well.
It’s so easy for us to focus on the things that seem unattainable that we get bogged down and forget about the things that are attainable. That’s why I created Flyinara. I want to help people-the dreamers-who are just like me and wondering how they’re going to make it all possible. The people who no longer want to allow their circumstances to control their dreams. Flyinara is a travel metasearch engine that gathers all of the data from different online travel agencies and compares it so that people with big dreams can choose the option that best fits their budget. We believe travel doesn’t have to be expensive so we give everyone the tools they need to reimagine the possible. From $17 five-star hotels in Thailand or $90 flights to the Virgin Islands to $400 flights to Spain, we find the deals people dream of so they can start living.
We value accessible opportunities for everyone, which is why we’re developing the software that allows people to travel with their budgets in mind. Competitors focus so much on people traveling that they overlook the challenges associated with it. That’s why we offer both affordable solutions for people who just want to cross off their bucket list as well as luxury solutions for people who want to feel like they’re on top of the world. Our sole purpose is to help everyone to overcome barriers to travel by creating remarkable environments and experiences. We address the needs of real people traveling today because not too long ago we were also wondering how it would all be possible.
With funding for our software development, we can completely revolutionize the travel industry.
