Los Crayfish Hermanos

📍 View on map

A modern café with a great terrace view over the city. The menu has a light pan-Asian touch, and the cocktails are a strong point – but the real gem is the traditional beer-and-crayfish feast. The atmosphere is relaxed; people come here in the evening to unwind, chat, and enjoy the view.

N.B. – the place is often closed in winters.

144 Stairs

📍 View on map

To get here, you’ll have to climb 144 steps — but the view is absolutely worth it. The cocktails are great, the staff friendly, and the place itself feels lively and genuine.

The interior has that pleasant, creative mess: paintings, vintage objects, a few cats (some of them a bit too curious, watch your plate), and an adorable resident dog.

The food is good, the presentation is playful — maybe a bit salty sometimes. The view over the city is one of the best in Tbilisi.

Outdoor Restaurant

📍 View on map

Not far from 144 Stairs — a beautiful open-air spot with a panoramic view of Tbilisi. Perfect for a slow lunch, a long talk, or a glass of wine with a view. Service can be hit or miss, so it’s not the place for a fancy dinner, but the atmosphere and scenery make up for it.

Gabriadze Café

📍 View on map

One of the most atmospheric cafés in Tbilisi — and a continuation of Rezo Gabriadze’s artistic world. The terrace is covered in roses and overlooks a small square with the famous clock tower and the city’s oldest fountain (if you’ve been here in summer, you know why it’s needed).

Inside, you’ll find ceramic tiles painted with scenes from Gabriadze’s plays and everyday life, puppets from his theater, and countless details that make you linger. You can even book a table inside the clock tower — a rare experience.

The menu reimagines traditional Georgian dishes in a refined, homemade way. Try the finely chopped lamb “semechki,” the mushrooms in house sauce, and check the wine list — the Tabidze family often brings in bottles from small Georgian producers. A place where view, food, and atmosphere truly align.

Puris Restaurant

📍 View on map

A new, cozy restaurant overlooking the Old Town. The interior is pleasant, though the seating isn’t the most comfortable. The food is classic European — nothing to elaborate — but the view from the windows is lovely.

DEDA Tbilisi

📍 View on map

If you want to see Old Tbilisi from a different angle, this is the place. A barbecue bar inside what’s essentially an old ruin — the contrast between the modern grill style and ancient stone walls is striking. It feels like the city’s identity summed up: rough edges, but full of charm. The food is solid, not experimental, but the setting makes it memorable.
