The Aftermath

The battle was won, but the price had been high. The Shadow Realm began to crumble around them, the tower shaking violently as the very fabric of the dark world unraveled. Elara and Kalen barely escaped through the portal before the entire realm collapsed in on itself, sealing the Shadow King’s power away—hopefully for good

When they returned to their own world, they were greeted with a landscape forever changed by the influence of the Shadow Realm. Cities had been ravaged, forests withered, and the sky still bore the scars of the dark energy that had once flooded through the rift

But there was hope. The people, inspired by Elara and Kalen’s victory, began to rebuild. The Yvara tribe, once hidden and reclusive, emerged to help heal the land. Together, they began to restore what had been lost.

For Elara, however, the victory was bittersweet. She had saved the world, but at great personal cost. The crystal, once a brilliant beacon of light, was now dim, its power spent. And though the Shadow King was gone, she could still feel a faint presence in the back of her mind, a lingering shadow that whispered to her in the quiet moments

Elara nodded, but her heart was heavy. It doesn’t feel over

Kalen looked at her, understanding in his eyes. “Maybe it never will be. But that’s why we’re still here. To make sure the darkness doesn’t come back

Elara smiled, grateful for his words. She knew he was right. The Shadow King may have been defeated, but the fight against darkness was never truly over. And as long as she carried the crystal, even dimmed, she would continue to fight
